Gah, don't remember haven't played since Beta 2 (gief Beta 4! ;) )

I can be located amongst all the dials on rear parts of left panel. Or at the forward section of the left panel.

Speedbrakes switch is located on the HOTAS. So look in keyboards assignments for HOTAS.

Air brake switch is on the throttle between the boat switch and the mic switch,

The Intercom system panel (rear left panel) is a single interface between you and the various navigation and radio systems in regards to their audio input/output. While each of these navigation and radio systems has their own audio (volume) controls, the Intercom panel overrides their settings. Additionally, the Intercom panel can control the volume level of tones associated with LASTE such as pull up, altitude, etc. and it allows communication with ground crew (needed for arming and refueling your aircraft).

You change the alt alert via you UFC. If I remember correctly you have to push function and alert or something like that. Then you can input the value for min alt.

Master intercom volume affects VMU volumes for altitude alerts and autopilot disengage messages (I think speedbrake too). There is no volume control for GCAS (pull up) VMU messages and are always played at full volume.

I think you found the wrong files. I've muted them and made them a JSGME mod and it works fine. I'll find and post the correct directory when I get home.
