No electronics, black out almost all gauges but keep the basic in same place. Only Gun and rockets. Simple but not "Arcade". Online playable. To get the masses,with a separate forum. A game within the sim. Almost all the work is done, black out most in cockpit. Do the same for Black Shark. There really is not much like that on the market. A bridge from "Arcade" to sim. Have you tried it with max realism level ? changing propeller pitch, managing multiple engines, etc... ? Of course, with a WW2 fighter, you have far less systems to cope with... But anyway, for me IL2 FB is more or less aimed at same player type as DCS... If you are a WW2 fan, that is :)

ONT Posted January 2, 2011 Author Posted January 2, 2011 In iRacing you don't start with the F1 car do all the telemetry and go racing in the points series (all thow you could buy the F1 and go Fun series to mess around). Most likely you start in a simple rookie car with default settings. Still fun, still top notch sim physics modeling. Is it as fun as F1 with opponents ? Most likely in the F1 you end up hating iRacing, to hard.
