Teej Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 OK, installed and updated firmware. Either it didn't update my apps from the last beta I was testing...or they just published that beta. When loading the TARGET GUI I see "Release Candidate 3" on the splash, and when the screen comes up I see "RC 3.0.11.203" in the upper right. That what y'all got? "Tank! StageFright Posted February 23, 2011 Posted February 23, 2011 (edited) I cannot get the throttle to update its firmware. Keep getting the same error (ERROR: bulk write error. (Code: 0x0000000D) or ERROR: time-out device should had arrived in BULK. (Code:0x34100001). Though my pc tells me the drivers installed fine and says it working properly. Just the firmware updater is giving me the error and the LED stay on also. Already removed all drivers and reinstalled with the same results...:joystick: any help would be great. sndwv Posted February 24, 2011 Posted February 24, 2011 Just heard from TM: confirmed that this update mainly adresses the LED functionality; the 'bricking' was not specifically addressed, but this version is overall more stable then previous firmware and is therefore recommended. According to TM there already were less reports of firmware issues with v18, so I would be very interested to hear if we will indeed see no further issues with v20.

WarriorX Posted March 2, 2011 Posted March 2, 2011 i just received my warthog today, how do i know if i have the latest firmware??? Install the latest version of TARGET. Run TARGET and next to each controller there will be a Get Firmware button. Hit that and it will retrieve and display the firmware for each device. Shaman Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Since they made Slider0 work jerky now, I do not recommend this update. Can someone tell me what is this: "guillemot webupdater" and can it be removed? Its functionality is unknown to me, and it connects to server when run, but then times out trying to check up on smth. 51PVO Founding member (DEC2007-) 100KIAP Founding member (DEC2018-) :: Shaman aka [100☭] Shamansky tail# 44 or 444 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 100KIAP Regiment Early Warning & Control officer
Teej Posted March 7, 2011 Posted March 7, 2011 Since they made Slider0 work jerky now, I do not recommend this update. Soviet PMed me about that. I'm unable to duplicate this. I set the slider to the exact value he gave as an example and after 8-10 minutes it hadn't changed once. I gave it a thump with my finger hard enough to change it and let it sit again for many minutes with no changes. I tried lots of different positions on both ends of the throw, and the closest I got to jerky/unstable was that sometimes (rarely) it would make one final change about 1 second after I moved it. Never got it to go back and forth between two values. Strange. "Tank! I need a program for a TM Warthog!"
