Ptroinks Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 Maybe you could add a tutorial on how to set Mk82AIR bombs to "slick" mode to your list. I know it can be found on the forums, but it would be a nice addition to your tips&tricks guide... [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
WarriorX Posted March 30, 2011 Posted March 30, 2011 hreich, you cut and pasted from my Tutorial on Coordinate Entry. Using others work verbatim without giving credit is bad form. And then to call it your tips and tricks document... At least state in your PDF that this is a condensation of WarrorX's Tutorial....and then a link to the original document. I put a lot of hard work in those Tutorials, and I would hope you would understand my request. Please address this. 2 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] "Is that you John Wayne?.......Is this me?" Please address this. :music_whistling: Seriously hreich I think another whole page for all your references would have been a nice edition to your handy little guide. Referencing a Term Paper 1 Title your reference page Works Cited and center it in the middle of the page. Do not underline or place the title in quotation marks. Make sure your reference page is a separate page at the end of your term paper, but numbered consecutively after the last page of your paper. 2 Enter citations in alphabetical order. Double-space all separate citations, but do not put spaces between lines of the same entry. Indent the second line and all subsequent lines of all citations. For in-text citations, put the author's last name and the page number in parentheses, separated by a comma. 3 Use italics or underlining for film, book and magazine titles. Use quotation marks for the titles of shorter works, such as poems, short stories and magazine or newspaper articles. Oh btw I'd like to reference ehow.com for this partial list. :megalol: Intel i5-2500k @ 4.4GHz w/ H70 liquid cooler, ASRock PRO3-M Z68 Mobo, 32G 1600Mhz Mushkin RAM, EVGA GTX970 4GB , OCZ Agility 3 128g SSD, SanDisk 240g SSD, Win7 64-bit --Twitch: http://www.twitch.tv/livingfood --
wickedfastball Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Or make it self-documenting and create a post of links to other posts! Then it would be searchable! Oh, wait...
McVittees Posted March 31, 2011 Posted March 31, 2011 Just a personal opinion, but I wouldn't start adding in pictures. Keep it short and sweet. Change INIT POSIT to BULLSEYE on MFD CDU page by pressing FUNC once & press SEL rocker - / down Once 4. Rotate STEER PT Dial on AAP to MISSION 5. When you receive a Bullseye call e.g 146/36 ....a. On UFC enter 146036 (Note the use of extra zero in front of 36) ....b. Press OSB 8 MH/DIS ....c. Press OSB 9 to display the information as indicated Waypoint. 6. Select NEW Bullseye created WP in HUD (STEER+- or HOTAS). Note: The entered Bullseye bearing will change once entered, this is due to Mag Variation & is correct. (absolutely no credit necessary for this as I'm sure its in some official manual somewhere, I didn't invent it & have absolutely no Ego to stoke.)
