Cibit Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 speaking of backup for spi transmit..is that fixed in 1.1.0.7? Azazel Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 So it seems that sending your spi to your wingman is partially fixed (in multi-player). If you conducted a "broadcast to all" with DMS left long, your wingman can lock on to your SPI on their TAD. Now if you try to send a target to your wingman (in multi-player again) with the send button on the TAD. Your buddy will receive the target information but once he slaves his TGP to the target you have sent him, he will find the altitude of the target n consistently below the surface of the earth. This is not a big deal really though since "broadcast to all" works fine now. This has been my experience thus far with sending targets to friends in the sim. If someone has gotten the send target info to work and not had the TGP show improper tgt alt please let me know how you did it. Great work on the latest patch ED Team, it was a big step in the right direction. Thx. nemises Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 Dynamic cockpit shadows aren't in. I noticed the other day when watching Wag's video of toss bombing that he said they were for an 'upcoming' patch and I didn't get the impression that that specifically meant this one.. Correct, this had never been planned to be or in the 1107 patch.. Wags is always quite a few builds ahead, and the testers tend to be 1 and 2 builds ahead or so
CrashEd Posted April 6, 2011 Posted April 6, 2011 How about the Net ID bug? (Group ID and Own ID changing after take-off) Has that been fixed??

Well at least you get the area of where stuff is going on, little reaiming is fine with me :) 4790K@4,6Ghz | EVGA Z97 Classified | 32GB @ 2400Mhz | Titan X hydro copper| SSD 850 PRO ____________________________________ Moments in DCS: --> https://www.youtube.com/user/weltensegLA --> WELD's cockpit: --> http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=92274
shu77 Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 So perhaps a dumb question, but when you broadcast your SPI How do I slave my TGP to that broadcast SPI rather than my own? 1 Hornet, Super Carrier, Warthog & (II), Mustang, Spitfire, Albatross, Sabre, Combined Arms, FC3, Nevada, Gulf, Normandy, Syria AH-6J i9 10900K @ 5.0GHz, Gigabyte Z490 Vision G, Cooler Master ML120L, Gigabyte RTX3080 OC Gaming 10Gb, 64GB RAM, Reverb G2 @ 2480x2428, TM Warthog, Saitek pedals & throttle, DIY collective, TrackIR4, Cougar MFDs, vx3276-2k Combat Wombat's Airfield & Enroute Maps and Planning Tools

Frederf Posted April 26, 2011 Posted April 26, 2011 One can also send "love note" messages with the D/L, not the mini-SPIs, but messages with points like the JTAC sends to you. It involves hooking the recipient and then the target objects (or maybe the other way around) on the TAD and hitting the SEND OSB on the TAD page.
