CAT_101st Posted April 3, 2011 Posted April 3, 2011 pedals will improve the KA-50 100%. It makes that much of a diffrance in a chopper. It will take a little gitting use to bu you will realise that "how can anyone fly with a twisty stick". SmukY Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Half year ago I've bought Simped Rudder pedals, because the potentiometer of my X52 rudder/twist died. They weren't cheap, but they helluva improved my Ka-50 flying performance. And as a same for TrackIR I'm wondering how I managed to survive without them. if anyone wants more information about simped pedals: http://www.dhs-electronic.de/index2.php?id=100&lng=en Their speciality is that they're fitted with HALL sensors instead of potentiometres. HALL sensors are ensuring that the pedals will stay accurate for many years. Helicopters don't fly, they just subdue the air. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
bogusheadbox Posted April 4, 2011 Posted April 4, 2011 Saitek rudders here and i like them quite a lot. Had them for some time now and they have been faultless. Have good spacing between pedals too.

Amarok_73 Posted April 8, 2011 Posted April 8, 2011 Actually, I am flying for a while on G940 with pedals, and I still have problems with this conversion. Before G940 I've been using Thrustmaster Afterburner 2, and for rudder I was using for over 8 years analog "cradle" on the throttle, and get used to it so much, so now I am sometimes (pretty often) forgetting that there's rudder and it requires legs to be employed. :-) Natural Born Kamikaze ------------------------- AMD Ryzen 5 3600, AMD Fatal1ty B450 Gaming K4, AMD Radeon RX 5700 XT, 32 GB RAM Corsair Vengeance LPX, PSU Modecom Volcano 750W, Virpil Constellation Alpha Prime on Moza AB9 base, Virpil MongoosT-50CM3 Throttle, Turtle Beach VelocityOne Rudder.

seldridge1960 Posted April 10, 2011 Posted April 10, 2011 Rudders and Track IR Hey I was trying to fly the Black Shark using a Microsoft Force Feedback II stick for about 6 months. Flying with that was a real chore. I finally broke down and got the Hog HOTAS, Saitek Pro combat pedals, and a Track IR 5 with the pro clip. Man, let me tell you it made all the difference in the world in regards to flying with precision. I still catch myself trying to twist the Hog stick once in a while though :megalol: Birdstrike = Chicken Sandwich!
