Quite pissed of my old Ativir, or ad-aware, kind of free softare that dont work for ******(false positive and so on....) :mad::doh:

 

 

What do you have guys ?

I dont mind to pay, as long as it works well with game

Believe it or not I use Microsoft security essentials and so far it has worked fine. And its free. Now having said that I am very careful about what sites I go to and I almost never open any attachments especially if I don't know the person they are from.

I am too, but I have my girlfriend that use my PC and she's not as carefull as me(she dont understand English, so when she searchs on Google, she clicks always on the 1st link lolllll :doh::music_whistling::D)

The Microsoft security essentials are pretty good. I looked at some test some time ago and was pretty surprised that it can hold on pair with payed solutions.

AVG or AVAST would be on my top two...AVAST being a little higher. I have had AVG as well and liked it, but I just had too much stuff sqeak through.

I had Micro trend titanium, Until it misses the latest attacks on web sites, Switched to free Essentials, Have had no worries, it even scans your downloads before the PC can have it, does not interfere with other programs, as well. $69.00 a year VS Free.. You Choose!!!! Jim:music_whistling:

Eset NOD 32 Antivirus.

 

Minimum footprint, maximum protection.

 

First week on these forums, I clicked on a link to a Russian terrain update, for BS and Eset blocked the link and gave me a quarantened virus!!

 

I passes this on to the forum moderators and they removed the offending post within 60 minutes!

 

 

It was a js/KrypticP.Trojan.

Topic: I also use AVG it's not CPU hungry and didn't have any problems with it.
