First : Is EMC installed with admin privileges?

 

Try:

-please run DCS and select a DCS-defaut profile.

-Close DCS

-Run EMC

-And create a totally new profile. as written in the quick-start Manual pdf.

 

Windows Start - > All programs -> Easy Monitor Configurator -> EMC 2.0 QuickStart Manual

 

And report back

 

- if it fails:

Please add more details info.

Do it in a way that I'm able to recreate your steps.

I am beginning to think there is, I cant play A-10c campaign in DCS (not used it since DCS World) so i am trying to reinstall - thanks PP

To play absolutely save:

 

-Make sure you start DCS with admin rights.

-un-install the A-10C module via the DCS module manager.

-Than reboot your system

-verify the un-installation of the A-10C module

to be absolute save:

Windows Start -> type "regedit" -> [enter] Navigate in open editor at the left side to:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER/software/Eagle Dynamics/...

Make sure there is no "Warthog" folder

If yes: Right click it and choose 'delete'.

-than do a re-installation of the A-10C module with admin rights

I feel like shooting myself right now. All steps were previously followed as stated. This time I did it the same but for the file name I put .lua on the end. It worked!

 

Wondering if this was my issue before I created another without the .lua . This did not work and emc died, now when I run it a always get an error

 

Array viariable has incorrect number of subscripts or subscript dimension was exceeded.

 

I have since uninstalled, reinstalled and replaced the backup files I made (all of config and scripts directory.

 

I still get this error when I load EMC..

 

Will have a break for now.

To be clearer in my last post I uninstalled emc and reinstalled it. Then replaced my dcs folder with original scripts.

 

When it starts it tellme me I have a default config dile selected. 1Camera.

 

When I click OK on that window the error window appears.

 

just realised I prob needed to backup my mods directory! I guess thats why its still balking after the EMC reinstall. I have something suspicious in there.

 

Will reinstall the a10 module and I am sure it will be OK from there :)

reinstalling just a10 didnt work, reinstalled dcs world as well and everything is now working and configured thank you very much!

I've got exactly the same problem. I'have DCS A10 only.

I've reinstall everything (2 time in 2 different directory) without succes.

Hi all, when I run EMC i dont get any selectable gauges. there is no A-10C tab to select, all I have is an FC3 placeholder and a misc. No A-10C or gauses, I can only select centre point and gui.

 

 

 

I then get this message and I click yes and nothing happens

 

 

Then this, no A-10C......

DCS A10 stand alone isn't compatible with ECM.

You need the A-10C module in a DCS-World 1.2.3 and up installation.

I've solved my issue....

modules ( A10, BS2) need to be download from the website and not from the game in the module manager.

 

that was my issue, I first downloaded A10 module from the game. It doesn't works.

I've then downloaded from the website and it works.

If you launch EMC alone no problem at all, it only occurs when you check "Start program after installation".

I think ED has changed the registry keys between Internet Downloaded modules and in-game downloaded modules!

I'll try to know how it works ant add it to the EMC 2.1 version changes.

I installed your mod, then started it from the desktop shortcut and it opened no less than 21 Firefox windows with over 1,000 tabs before I could get it stopped, all trying to open the Paypal page. It's a good job I know what I am doing or it would still be going now.

 

Not only that, when I had logged off and back on, the next time I started Firefox it did exactly the same thing - even after having uninstalled EMC.

 

That is what I call malware - intentional or not, doesn't matter - there is no excuse. :mad:

I really like EMC. Thank you for the software. But i have to agree, opening up paypals page like that is not good. By all means ask for a donation, but not by doing it that way. I couldn't kill the process and had to switch off my computer without shutting it down properly because it became totally unresponsive. Please keep up your good work at modding but change the install process. I look forward to your future mods/software.

Gods, I'm trying not to lose my temper here, but have you ANY idea the time it takes to make and support such kind of *freeware* app ?

 

I had the exact same issue, once, the first time I launched the app, and then what ?

 

Does it prevent the app doing what it was intended for, namely saving you lot of frustration ? Nope.

 

How in heaven is it even conceivable to go on such a rage on someone willing to give away their spare time for the community ? Had a bad day ?

 

What have you done to try and HELP solve the issue ? Ah, right, nothing at all.

 

Then you just have the right to uninstall, and walk away, IMO.

Im using this for the bs and I only want to use it with the schval and my lilliput. I only have the schval checked but the abris keeps coming up and its not in my config. How do I turn the abris off.

This is a fantastic tool. I've gone from manually editing my lua files to using softh and now this is even better!

 

My DCSW though crashes when trying to load a mission when running in full screen. I think I get some FSP boost when not in windowed mode.

 

Is there a way of runing multi monitor and full screen ?
