badger66 Posted August 3, 2012 Posted August 3, 2012 Just got this , Im at work ..... will be home in 10 hours time and will check it out then . Another excellant mod from you ..... a star in the making :)
Kuky Posted August 4, 2012 Posted August 4, 2012 PeterP, I followed the readme instruction and just tried it quickly and I can say it works good with A-10C but not with Su-25T, I assume this will work only with modules that have clickable cockpit (as you can't see the mouse pointer when you are in Su-25T). I was able to click in A-10C on switches without issues. I am running Windowed mode 2400x1800 total resolution, 4:3 aspect now it's lunch time for me :) PC specs: Windows 11 Home | Asus TUF Gaming B850-Plus WiFi | AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D + LC 360 AIO | MSI RTX 5090 LC 360 AIO | 55" Samsung Odyssey Gen 2 | 64GB PC5-48000 DDR5 | 1TB M2 SSD for OS | 2TB M2 SSD for DCS | NZXT C1000 Gold ATX 3.1 1000W | TM Cougar Throttle, Floor Mounted MongoosT-50 Grip on TM Cougar board, MFG Crosswind, Track IR
zzzspace Posted August 5, 2012 Posted August 5, 2012 (edited) Works fine for me Peter. Only thing I'd prefer is if the radius of the mouse yellow-circle tranparency (don't know if that will be part of your final version) as shown in your video was about 75% of present size, so that it overlaps less with adjacent menu options. -- EDIT: Single monitor, I've tried it now at both 1366*768 and 1920*1080, both using your larger-clearer font mod and it worked well, I encountered no defective commands as far as I can tell, and the placement of menus was ok for my needs. Looking forward to the F10 interupt for this script though. I will use the final version of this mod, never used it before this, but like it a lot. PeterP Posted August 5, 2012 Author Posted August 5, 2012 (edited) This Zip also contains a Version for TripleHead users (also for SoftTH users as long you have a TH-similar setting) The whole screen-width will be divided by 3 and the radio items will be only shown in the middle. Who has already download the v0.96 version and use a "normal" single screen setting or at least a setting that has the "Camera" render at X/Y 0 of your primary screen don't has to download it again. @BigNewy Can you please test and report. - this also should work with your setup now. PeterP Posted August 8, 2012 Author Posted August 8, 2012 (edited) Yes of course! (I will prepare a complete manual/instruction at the weekend...) But here is how to move the selection as a quick fix for you: Use v.98 TripleHead for the following edits: Radio devise position e.g."UHF": open CommandsDialogPanal.lua line #231 mainCaption:setBounds(screenWidth / 2.95, 0, CommandMenu.menuWidth, upperBarHeight) --Radio device positionchange it to 1020 or screenWidth / 2.85 if your total in-game render is 2900 And selection (what you click): open CommandsMenu.lua line #84 container:setBounds(width / 2.95, 0, width / 3, height) change it to 1020 or width / 2.85 if your total in-game render is 2900 BTW: can anyone help this guy out ?!- I don't know nothing about steam..:) >>>>http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=1525688#post1525688 Edited August 8, 2012 by PeterP

PeterP Posted August 13, 2012 Author Posted August 13, 2012 (edited) Thanks to all that use this mod and have no bugs!:) Well- I said that I will upload a instruction last weekend - Short: I didn't made it. Long winded: It is more complicated that you might think to "squeeze" the radio-items at any place you want. And it is really hard to explain the logic behind it. So I turn it now the other-way around - when I get at least 20 responses of people that really need to move it (and are not just curious) I will start to work down this list and help each after another to get the comms-menu how they need it - and once this is done I will use the info of these "talk-on's " to write the instruction by using some of these examples. :) So I ask you all that expect me to use my time to look at your settings how to position the Radio-menu to your needs again to give me the needed info in one posting and as clear as possible by using provided images >>> (so I'm not forced to have several tabs open at one time and I can't mix up the info of different users). This image has been resized. Click this bar to view the full image. The original image is sized 3840x1080. - please use the images above it to place it on a Screen-capture of your desktop (by using MS-Paint) to make it 100% clear where you want the selection. And please do it like this : Hi I want to customise the click-able radio menue. I use a total In-game render of 3840x1080 I need the top left of the selection "F1" at x=3069/y=710 and I would like to have the top-left of Dialogue at x=3389/y=687 Here is a Screen-shot of my desktop showing the exact position: >insert image< Edited August 24, 2012 by PeterP

Abbath Posted August 15, 2012 Posted August 15, 2012 It would be great if you can explain how to place it in the lower right corner for the helios profiles You are welcome to my DCS A-10 server "Ugly Bastards".
PeterP Posted August 15, 2012 Author Posted August 15, 2012 (edited) I need the whole picture - means: I need your exact monitor-layout a Screen-shoot of your whole render area (not scaled!) and a exact explanation what you want to see at which place (preferable in pixels - use this to make exact measurements: pixelwindow - when words are not enough : Attach edited images so I can't have no doubt about what you want. Also attach your "Monitorsetup".lua that is in use. "how to place it in the lower right corner for the helios profile" is not enough. You know as much about my system as I about yours. ;) Edited August 15, 2012 by PeterP
Rider1 Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 (edited) Hi Peter. I am having an issue with the Win R command to get it to work. I have the files installed and ran the script. When I use WinR All I can here is the open run box menu sound in the back ground, and the menu items remain unclickable. Any ideas. This is for version 1 Single head, normal setup. Thanks! Edit: Right mouse click on radio options. Doh! Edited August 20, 2012 by Rider1
PeterP Posted August 20, 2012 Author Posted August 20, 2012 (edited) explanation why I choose the right mouse button: When I would assign also the left mouse button the area at which the Radio-menu appears would have been blocked for left-clicks in the cockpit. Maybe not a big problem in the A10C- but in the Ka-50. As the data-link panel of the Ka-50 is normally also in this area and it would be difficult to use it. @Abbath did I scared you off with my questions? Edited August 20, 2012 by PeterP
Rider1 Posted August 20, 2012 Posted August 20, 2012 Whatever works! Thanks again for bringing back this wonderful mod 1
Abbath Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 @Abbath did I scared you off with my questions? No no, I repositioned it by myself. It was easier than I thought. But my touchscreen doesn't work with the radio menu at the moment. As far as I understand this is done by the exe. Can you make it clickable by left mouse click please. Thank you. You are welcome to my DCS A-10 server "Ugly Bastards".
hokie17 Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 (edited) I'm having the same problem in DCS World, A-10C, 1.2.0. I have two 1920x1080 screens, side by side in Windows, with CapLoz's Helios profile on the touchscreen (the monitor to the right). I would like to make it clickable for the touchscreen. I can get reasonably close horizontally, but cannot get it in the right place vertically. Using MouseLoc.exe, the coordinates for the top left of the box where it should appear are about 3047, 635. The bottom right of the box is 3827, 1030. MonitorSetup is as follows: _ = function#p# return p; end; name = _#'BMFCD'); Description = 'BMFCD' Viewports = { Center = { x = 0; y = 0; width = 1920; height = 1080; viewDx = 0; viewDy = 0; aspect = 1#7777777777777777777777777778; } } RIGHT_MFCD = { x = 3326; y = 120; width = 445; height = 445; } LEFT_MFCD = { x = 1987; y = 120; width = 445; height = 445; } CMSC_SCREEN = { x = 2776; y = 141; width = 230; height = 49; } CMSP_SCREEN = { x = 2995; y = 190; width = 270; height = 70; } RWR_SCREEN = { x = 2520; y = 161; width = 175; height = 175; } DIGIT_CLOCK = { x = 2400; y = 830; width = 122; height = 122; } UHF_FREQUENCY_STATUS = { x = 2555; y = 565; width = 120; height = 30; } UHF_PRESET_CHANNEL = { x = 2668; y = 477; width = 30; height = 30; } UHF_REPEATER = { x = 2576; y = 695; width = 110; height = 30; } UIMainView = Viewports.Center I would appreciate any help you could provide. PeterP Posted August 24, 2012 Author Posted August 24, 2012 (edited) No no, I repositioned it by myself. It was easier than I thought. But my touchscreen doesn't work with the radio menu at the moment. As far as I understand this is done by the exe. Can you make it clickable by left mouse click please. Thank you. That's exactly the reason why I need all the info I requested...(most of the time I have a good reason why I post questions in this forum and I don't do it just out of fun...) - I need the exact position where the Radio-selection spawns to make the script working at the place you want. So please provide me with the info I asked for and do it like in the following annotation . Than I will explain how to place the click able area for the Radio-selection F1-F10. I'm having the same problem in DCS World, A-10C, 1.2.0. Thanks for the info! But it is still not really 100% clear to me where you want the Radio-selection appear. So I ask (all of) you to do something like the following example - so I have no doubt at all where you want the Selection to appear: Attached is a image of the radio selection. - please use it to place it on the Screen-capture by using MS-Paint) to make it 100% clear where you want the selection. EDIT And tell me also if only the selection should appear at this place or if also the dialogue has to show up right next to it. So please also name the position of the dialogue by using the other attached image. (Please provide the info clear as possible - so there is no doubt and I didn't need to post the same questions on and on :) - help me helping you!) Thanks. Edited August 24, 2012 by PeterP
hokie17 Posted August 24, 2012 Posted August 24, 2012 That would be exactly how I'd be wanting it, assuming the background is still black. :)
PeterP Posted August 24, 2012 Author Posted August 24, 2012 (edited) That would be exactly how I'd be wanting it, assuming the background is still black. :) Thanks for the Personal-Massage(s) . But this is not quite looking for when I speak of "provide the info clear as possible". Please don't get me wrong- Let me explain -and please don't mind if it maybe sounds like a little rant. But I just want to put it straight so you get my point and there is not much room left for misinterpretation : I get many PM's (especially at the weekend ) where people ask me to help them to deal with a wide range of problems they have with DCS. And I always try to answer them all. Some are starting like this: "Can you remember that you helped me with my settings once ? - now I need your help again - I have now attached a Third monitor (full hd) and I want the MFCD' on it - but How ? Thanks!" (Yes- no link and no additional info! - some expect me to remember them and their settings only by their User-name....(!) because I answered them in a thread several month/years ago) Imagine yourself how many questions I have to ask sometimes - and how many PM's are being exchanged that I can finally start to answer the initial question. ...this can get really tiring sometimes. And it sometimes feels really like pulling teeth. - and It is not uncommon that some of them even tell me at the end that I'm unfriendly , pedantic and such....-just because I asked for info...(...) Well - that's their problem - not mine. So I ask you all that expect me to use my time to look at your settings how to position the Radio-cooms menu to your needs again to give me the needed info in one posting and as clear as possible by using provided images >>> (so I'm not forced to have several tabs open at one time and I can't mix up the info of different users. .
