If that's the case you may be interested in this video which shows what can be done with an extra monitor.

That whole setup while impressive is really not to my liking.

Kills immersion not having the cockpit rendered and simulated with helios instead. Love to have infinity setup but i would never use a touch screen in that fashion.

For some it clearly adds immersion.. for me it has the complete apposite affect.

You can flick the cockpit on and off. I usually fly with it on until I get into a congested area and need an FPS boost. TrackIR is also completely usable with an Eyefinity setup. Again, it can be paused when not needed (e,g, on final)

Do you miss the cockpit and do you bother with head tracking with your setup (which is very nice btw)?

I have and do normally use TrackIR with my setup but left it off to make the video. Nothing more off putting, I think, than the view flashing around whilst you are head down.

Having said that, I use TrackIR with the full view (ie: F1 view) when looking out to the sides etc. It's a keypress on my HOTAS and becomes very intuitive.

No It's not to everyones liking. Some people still prefer to use snap keys rather that TrackIR. But as I said above, I made this just to show Helios and the profile that I've spent a long time getting to look more like the in Sim, by copying it's textures into Helios. In the video I left off TrackIR and my normal use of it which includes Airframe rendering when looking around. If you don't do that it's too easy to lose situational awareness.

I'm intrigued about the comment "I would never use a touch screen in that fashion" How else would you use it in a flight sim?

I agree it would be great to have screens like mine and render to the whole lot and have the ability to use the touchscreen just in the lower section to make switches by touch without using either Helios or HawgTouch. Unfortunately Windows does not allow that.

Loz, don't get me wrong I understand your intent, great to show others the potential of these things. I was only commenting my opinion i suppose.

I suppose i'd like to have two small touch screens emulating the MFCDs as i do like to have these larger than the default. I presently have them on my 2nd 22" monitor. I just find the clickable cockpit the best option for all the other panels when i comes to immersion & realism. I enjoy looking around the cockpit clicking switches.

But i suppose i am being slightly hypocritical as i also have the UFC & CDU also on my 2nd monitor also, my intent there is purely for ease of input. Shown in the image below.

No probs. :D I was just interested in what you meant, but I fully understand.

I think my driving force to get into this initially was to have easier access to the MFCDs, which are the hub of the Hog. And just like you, after trying the TM MFDs stuck to the bezel found that I really needed some ease of accessing the UFC and it sort of snowballs from there.

I've always been a junky for graphics, and when I found that I could "Simise" the graphics on Helios, I just dived in trying hard to remember lots of PS techniques that I'd forgotten. LOL

By the way I can't see your hidden pics.

And for Hog Driver here is a still of the "look" I'll have to work on a vid.

(Sorry for the crappy quality. Taken with the webcam)

You should just be able to lick on the 'Show' button. Odd if you can't. I'll remove the 'spoiler tag' from it.

This version 2.0 is not quite ready for release but v1.33 is and is here at www.scsimulations.com/downloads called Loz Single Monitor_1.33.rar and that has the

same ICC panel.

i downloaded HELIOS and made a nice UFC /NAV /EMERG diplay for my USB 110" MiMo but am having a helluva time keybinding to it so i can use it online - i find the documentation in this regard pretty poor. A simple example of "Here's how to map a HELIOS button to a keyboard command" would help me alot.

Have you downloaded and read the manual. Better still there are some tutorials that people have put on YouTube that may be worth a look.

My advice would be to load up a profile by Gadroc that has what you want, in a second window of the Profile Editor and after making sure that you have added the A10C Interface to your panel, copy and paste across what you want. (If you don't do that the bindings will not work.)

Good Luck. :)

Man this looks so awesome. I wish I had that amount of disposable income. I'm estimating somewhere around $2-2.5kUS at least for the 4 monitors. I already have a 6950 card and the TM Warthog.

The best suggestion I can give you is to look at an existing profile for switches that have nothing to do with the cockpit. Gadroc's profile has controls for turning TIR on and off and some others that are just keyboard commands. Once you look at one of those it will make perfect sense.

I learned most of what I know by reverse engineering existing profiles.

i was told not to load the interface... as it was the interface that taps into .lua... all i want to do is set up simple keybinds and unfortunatley the manual is woefully confusing on that particular matter.
