Guess you haven't seen some of the good Air Force crew chief's. When I was at Mirmar in May 2010, I saw them marshalling jets out in their undies doing some funny dances. They don't do it much mainly when they are TDY and it's the sortie to go home. They are funny though and it doesn't happen all the time.
