Ok so I've just asked ATC for startup clerance and the pilots voice was in english. I have russian cockpit on so I'm wondering if there will be an option for russian talk like in BS 1.02 and native betty?

Congrats you've found the first bug :)

Actually it's known already.

Update. I apologise - I've just been informed it is by design. No Russian Voices in the English version, sorry for the confusion.

I did notice the opposite thing on one BS2 mission. In Courier (fantastic mission by the way, I really enjoyed it) the mission event speech at start-up is Russian - although thank goodness the mission text is English. The Russian voice should probably be changed to English voice with Russian accent.

yes please give us russian radio or at least the option to change it; i loved how it sounded into 1.02 and to me the new radio is an immersion killer.. moreover, if i remember correctly, in warthog if you play as russian you have the correct language audio.. shouldn't be that hard implementing it in bs2

Yes lots and lots of new stuff and almost everything was re-voice acted, do not copy and paste! It will take a deeper look at how things work, if it is possible at all.

What about using the files from the Russian release of BS2?

i386DX40@42 MHz w/i387 CP, 4 MB RAM (8*512 kB), Trident 8900C 1 MB w/16-bit RAMDAC ISA, Quantum 340 MB UDMA33, SB 16, DOS 6.22 w/QEMM + Win3.11CE, Quickshot 1btn 2axis, Numpad as hat. 2 FPH on a good day, 1 FPH avg.

I really hope this is corrected, talk about a real downer. :(

It's not that bad Irregular...just pretend.:smilewink: Now I havn't checked it yet in the mission editor but I believe while perusing through the GUI manual that the communication suite is much more sophisticated in terms of who we can hear over the radios and who we can actually talk too. I believe I saw that we can use Forward Observers in sink with the BS. So much to explore. I hope I'm right.
