GGTharos Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 It takes a little bit of re-training with each aircraft if you don't fly it for a while, but it'll be ok. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
Jona33 Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 I do have some major concerns.... How the hell a i meant to remember all the HOTAS and other commands... one module; no problem, two modules; difficult... 3 or more... not sure how i'll cope.. add FC3 and i'll be totally lost.. :( I know. On A-10 I hit a button. "Don't switch my steerpoint. WHY ARE YOU NOT DISPENSING FLARES. CRAAAAAP." :D Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing
GGTharos Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 I'm not. I'm very sure it will be the P-51b Mustang. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Reminder: SAM = Speed Bump :D I used to play flight sims like you, but then I took a slammer to the knee - Yoda
Jona33 Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 This thread grows so fast. I can't keep track. Always remember. I don't have a clue what I'm doing
amalahama Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 There is no P-51B in the TFC collection. Regards!

Speed Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 OH HELL YES!!! BATTLE COMMANDER IS COMING BACK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At first glance, I think I could care less for "Flying Legends"- if that means WWII- but, on second thought, I have never flown a WWII sim with Eagle Dynamics fidelity. sylkhan Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 What the point of 'Flying legend"?? take off, flying, landing.... I don't anderstand, if someone can explained... DCS means Dynamic combat simulator, no...or i am missing something..
Agg Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 No, the Caucasus terrain would have to be re-built from scratch, I'm lead to believe. So, that probably means that when we finally get the US fixed wing fighter we'll have to wait for Warthog 2, Black Shark 3 and Flaming Cliffs 4 before they move on to the next one ;) Im not really sure what to think about this, I do of course see the need to get things out fairly regularly to keep the cash flow going, but I would prefer ED to focus on getting the next DCS module off the ground and not mocking about with new versions of Flaming Cliffs and what not. 1

Speed Posted November 13, 2011 Posted November 13, 2011 But Combined Arm's? I can drive and use Viecle and his armament?!! Probably not, more likely, you will be able to tell the vehicle where to drive by giving it a waypoint, but not directly use the weapons- I COULD BE WRONG- Several other new items are still being considered. ED Team JimMack Posted November 13, 2011 ED Team Posted November 13, 2011 It takes a little bit of re-training with each aircraft if you don't fly it for a while, but it'll be ok. As in the real world. You can only be current on one aircraft at a time. If you switch to another aircraft you have to go through a full refamil program. The days of the 2nd WW when you just "kicked the tyres, checked Pilots Notes for stalling speed" are long gone. Looking at his log books, my father flew 56 Royal Navy Fleet Air Arm types from the Seafire XV culminating in the Sea Vixen. I do remember, when I was 16 years of age, Dad for 3 evenings reading the Sea Vixen Pilots Notes that were about 3 inches thick. Seafire XV was 44 pages! Having problems?
