Cool stuff. Seeing all of those B-17s running at the same time must have been impressive.:joystick:

I only respond to that little mechanical voice that says "Terrain! Terrain! Pull Up! Pull Up!"

Awesome and inspiring! Thanks. :smilewink: I think the Bug is the best looking plane currently fielded by US forces. I don't know why, but it's sleek, modern, a bit modest looking yet far from being boring. My very first combat flight sim was F/A-18 3.0, too. :D

I really like these videos, the Super Hornet ridealong is great as well... But I just cant get over what a tame display this is, guess Ive been spoiled by the European Hornet displays ;)

That high alpha pass was sick. Wierd watching the vid without hearing the pilot grunting though.

Edit: What was that touch-and-go at 15:00? Never seen one of those in a routine. Maybe a simulated carrier trap?

Love the sound of the G-load! Reminds me of being hit by a strong thermal while flying with my paraglider :D

I think the sound is coming from the sudden change of angle of attack causing vortices around the leading edge extensions, i.e. the sound is airflow related not G-load related.

Man, we should start a 'place a bet' thread with logic behind your decision. It'll be quite interesting to read and laugh at the same time. :D

I bet my entire collection of Brown Bootay it won't be the Hornet.

ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P

You would be correct. (Edit- never mind... next time I'll read the post above me.)
