Personally speaking I much prefer the variety of Lock on to the A10 and Black Shark thingy clicky mousey button stuff. So with all due respect I shall be shutting down all my flighty simmy thingy stuff until I can fly the Su27 (which is why I liked ED sims in the first place) The A10 light realism, The wonderful Mig 27 ...etc etc. :-)

Hey! Mizzy

Nice to see you around the forums! Hope you are well!

Just read your post and I must say that A-10C is a fantastic simulator. There is such an immersion from all those parameters that one has to take into consideration.. perhaps all those switches are a lot of details, but I guess that is one of the reasons a lot of guys love it. But the mission editor and the beauty of the sim world are two great assets that will definitely benefit LOFC 3 and I am looking forward to it too!

Anyways, just wanted to say hello! to the queen of lockon!:)

In DCS I fly jets with thousands of pounds of thrust...

In real life I fly a humble Cessna Hawx XP II with 210 HP :D

MiG-27 belongs to the legends of air planes, why not ^^

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D

I agree about FC3 but would love to see a DCS Flanker as this was ED's benchmark aircraft. Could you imagine a new Su-27 with the level of detail as A10C. In my opinion this was there starting airframe in flanker that took them off and should have a anniversary sim just to shine on how far they have come along.

Second that! hello Mizzy!

As JEFX sais, DCS:A-10C is also fantastic. I would say not only as a sim, but also as a game.

But then again I'm also all for FC3! Let it come!

Hello JEFZ, Tflash and all our small but great community here. Sorry I meant the Mig 29. I have all ED's simulators since Flanker and my partner Mark has just bought me Black Skark 2. I just cannot get my head around all the push button stuff, plus the fact (and it is not commonly known) but I don't do any fighting in the simulators, I use them for flight and populate the place with aircraft going to and from destinations in the sim world and my passion is for military airframes. I like it much more than MS FSX or anything like that. So the real aspect of how good these single study aircraft are in DCS is pretty well lost on me ;-) I like pretty graphics and a realistic flight model as in the A10, Su25/t and to a less degree the Ka 50.

Anyway, that's where I come from in my enjoyment of ED's simulations.

I like to do that as well, I love the combat aspect of the DCS- and FC-series, but most of the time I like to just fly and not do any fighting. That's why I really want an SDK so we can bring some more life to the sim...
