Just saw the Airshow

Outstanding Job on the formation flying! I just got into DCS but I have been flying for a living for 15yrs. It's amazing how far flight sims have come. My first combat sim was Falcon. I will stop by your site soon. Keep up the great flying.

Wow..during the korea campaign the Mustang shot down 12 Mig's...impressive..this is why I love this bird..

I recall a documentary about the Tuskegee Airmen. One of the Airmen, 'I cant recall his name' managed to shoot down a Jabo me 262, it was incredible

Don't have that information handy right now since I am at work, but on March 24/1945 During an Bomber escort to Berlin the " Redtails " shot down three(3) ME 262's...no mention at this moment who the pilots were...

Asking someone who I get my info from gave this answer very realiable..

On March 24,1945 during a bomber escort into Berlin encountered some ME 262's and three(3) were shot down..

The pilot's who shot them down were as listed..

"1st, Lt. Roscoe Brown

2nd Lt.Charles V.Brantley

1st. Lt. Earl R. Lane

all three from the 100FS. "

Lane and Brantley each earned a Distinguished Flying Cross that day. Roscoe Brown had previously earned the DFC. The 99FS earned it's 3rd Distinguished Flying Unit Citation for that mission. 5 aircraft and pilots went missing that day as well.

New Tuskegee Show Skin's

Hello;

Thanks to Team members " Shahdoh, Sniper & Goonybird " we now have new show skin's as seen in the following pictures

The team has new skins for the 2014 season and beyond. We have chosen to emulate the Commemerative Air Force's decisions to represent all 4 fighter squadrons in the 332nd Group with the following:

99th FS is represented by the blue trim tabs on the rudder and elevator

100th FS is represented by the red wing tips

301st FS is represented by the yellow band on the outer portion of the wings (The inner yellow band was on all of them)

302nd FS is represented by the red and yellow cowling

Also, to honor the brave men that flew these aircraft, we proudly display the original pilots name on the left side of the canopy and the virtual pilot on the right. Nose art, kill record and number of the aircraft flown by that pilot has been recreated as accurately as possible.

Hope you like them..
