You don't have to love Su-25T, but it loves you :D

No way to uinstall it seems to be.

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D

How much space do you think the Su-25T avionics take up? I mean the P-51 part of the install files is a wimpy 150 mb. I'd be shocked if the 25t was even 1/4 of that space.

The right man in the wrong place makes all the difference in the world.

Try Ricardo's HD pit and the 6dof mod and maybe you will give the poor toad a chance... Its not a good system simulation, but it is just as difficult to stay alive and complete a misson. But without the mods its garbage, yes. But it doesn't take up much space I guess. You can selectively delete Su25 files but make sure you dont delete the ai model. Personally, I wouldn't take the risk.

I've gotten a big kick out of seeing the "finesse" in posts recently.

Must be something in the water. Maybe it is jet lag or something.

I am worried that offering the Su-25T for free with DCS World will give people the wrong idea about DCS. Is that too complicated to understand?

I agree that it may give people a wrong impression about DCS-level simulation.

Perhaps people would have understood your point if you didn't start this thread calling the Su-25T module "garbage" ;)

This garbage is taking up space on my SSD.

The Su-25T takes around 120mb inside of DCS:world ... it may is much less.

What is your real problem ? - seems you want to discuss it - otherwise: Why the hassle to open a thread for it ?

SO what exactly is the problem offering EDs very first advanced flight model for free? Just because A. its not a clickable pit, or B. not a full 6dof cockpit? The fact that its free, and still meets OR EXCEEDS any other flight sim not developed by ED should say something. Falcon 4.0 is still going strong, it looks like a bag of ass to me, you dont see me telling those F4 fanbois how to uninstall their garbage. Ask them about their advanced flight model based on railroad tie ins.

Oh ic. If you uninstall Su25T from your system, it will no longer give people the wrong idea about DCS.

*Not complicated to understand at all*

Having the Su-25T in DCS World is a nice bonus (I bought FC1 back in the day), but it could be misleading to people who are new to DCS. Let's face it, new people people most likely cannot tell the difference between a Lockon flyable and the Su-25T in DCS. DCS:BS/WH/P51 offer clearly more in depth simulation than the previous flyables (besides 6DOF and clickable cockpit), including the Su-25T. As far as DCS-promotion goes, I'd have to say those user made Youtube videos will help a lot more than a free pre-DCS flyable.

Falcon 4 may not have the best flight model, but it still exceeds DCS in other areas, almost 15 years after its release. Edited by ALDEGA

Does it really? 15 years and its "just" above DCS. I have a hard time believing that. A dynamic campaign does not make one above DCS titles. A few misc. avionics additions doesnt really make it that far advanced over DCS either. I guess time will tell with regards to the next DCS module released, but having experienced both KA50 and A-10C, I dont see Falcon 4 being worthy of pursuit much longer. You can only rehash 15 yr old software so much. Ive seen it come a long way, but in the end, its still a game that looks like it runs in DOS.
