Hey guys,

 

Have you seen this? I am not sure, but I think this means we can use the A-10 and the Ka-50 in DCS World now. :pilotfly:

Yes and no. It mean the BETA A-10C (and Ka-50) module for DCS:World is available.

Don't import your input settings from 1.1.1.1. Several things have changed including new commands that may be broken if you do.

Also, would you say I'm better off flying my Hog in World now, or staying with the stand alone client?

I know there is a thread started but it needs a better title!

 

BS2 Full version is available for World also HERE

 

Just a heads up...Do not import your Input settings from 1.1.1.1 install. Start it all new!

Yes, as well as others that may not been documented. It's also possible that others changes/fixes may be incorporated before the "final" release of the DCS:World A-10C module.

It really depends on you and how you fly, it'd be best to keep 1.1.1.1 installed especially if you fly MP.

 

But there should be no issues flying 1.1.2.1 apart from possible compatibly issues with community missions and mods. That said, it is still a beta so if you can't handle the chance of a few problems, stick with 1.1.1.1 until the A-10C module is out of beta.

Fat T is above, thin T is below. Long T is faster, Short T is slower. Open triangle is AWACS, closed triangle is your own sensors. Double dash is friendly, Single dash is enemy. Circle is friendly. Strobe is jammer. Strobe to dash is under 35 km. HDD is 7 times range key. Radar to 160 km, IRST to 10 km. Stay low, but never slow.

Get World here. Just download the exe and 3 bin files for the World installer.

Cheers. Maybe ED should give it its own place in the Downloads section -- it wasn't intuitive to go looking for it under P51D.

So , after upgrading DCS:world, can I remove the stand-alone a-10C ?
