JCamel Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 Su-25T seems to constantly roll to the right (right wing down), despite symmetrical weapons load. Is this normal? If the telegraph pole takes off after you, it is not a telegraph pole.
speckfire Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 Could be the nose wheel that is not centered. Speed is life !!!
Leto Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 When in game try RCTRL+ENTER and verify your controller input is ok [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Ariescon.com Intel i7-6700K | 32GB RAM | NVIDIA GTX 1080 | 1TB m.2 SSD | TM Warthog | Logitech G-35 | TrackIR 5 | Windows 10 Ultimate 64bit | 3 monitor setup @5760x1080 | Occulus Rift
JCamel Posted July 18, 2012 Author Posted July 18, 2012 Thanks, I 'll try that. If the telegraph pole takes off after you, it is not a telegraph pole.
JCamel Posted July 18, 2012 Author Posted July 18, 2012 Yeah, the axis mapping is jumping about. I've tried it in other games and it works fine. Sometimes it pulls right, sometimes it pulls up. Bug? It started off fine then went haywire part way through a mission. If the telegraph pole takes off after you, it is not a telegraph pole.
HiJack Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 Track? Su-25T works fine. You are aware of the fact that weight is shifting as you fire weapons right?
Hoozin Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 I would double-check all of your axis inputs. The first time I flew the Su-25T, unbeknownst to me, it had mapped a slider to a throttle and my left throttle to the rudder.
HiJack Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 (edited) I also think there is problems if you start engines before you switch on main power. Check your startup prosedure. EDIT: I always switch on power first and then waits until all needles is aligned before starting engines. Edited July 18, 2012 by HiJack
HiJack Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 Found this in an old thread 1 - Electonics on : Shift + L 2 - Throttle to idle <- Very important, as scotsman pointed out 3 - Start left engine : Alt + Home 4 - Start left engine : Shift + Home (or both with RWin + Home) 5 - Dont touch the throttle until rpm settles (around 35%) (HJ)
JCamel Posted July 18, 2012 Author Posted July 18, 2012 (edited) Track? Su-25T works fine. You are aware of the fact that weight is shifting as you fire weapons right? Not if you are a cheating git and use the unlimited weapons cheat. What I've noticed is that after I use combat steer with the autopilot it goes off on one as soon as I end it with LAlt+9. Then after I use it again, it comes back to centre once LAlt+9. Sometimes pulls right, sometimes pulls up. I'll post this track as soon as I finish. Nate--IRL-- Posted July 18, 2012 Posted July 18, 2012 The Auto pilot steers by adjusting the trim position. If you disengage it the chances are that it isn't in a trim neutral position. Engage the level flight Autopilot mode and then disengage it after it has stabilised. Nate Ka-50 AutoPilot/stabilisation system description and operation by IvanK- Essential Reading
JCamel Posted July 18, 2012 Author Posted July 18, 2012 Having tried with a different controller I get the same problem to less of a degree. After experimenting with some Vikhrs at the end you'll see the small offset on the axis. I think the problem may lie with dead zone programming for people using controllers. I.e. the sticks are still reading a small input when none is present.Dead Zone.trk If the telegraph pole takes off after you, it is not a telegraph pole.

JCamel Posted July 18, 2012 Author Posted July 18, 2012 Another one. At the end after the 12+km Vikhr kill;) it just goes up (down on the axes indicator). I'd love to blame the XBOX controller but don't feel it's guilty.Dead Zone 2.trk If the telegraph pole takes off after you, it is not a telegraph pole.

JCamel Posted July 18, 2012 Author Posted July 18, 2012 I'm giving up. Su-25T sim just isn't a finished article. The plane is impossible to land, the autopilot function don't work for shit and the stick response is crazy. Maybe one day it'll be finished and I'll buy it then but at present it's an unplayable POS. If the telegraph pole takes off after you, it is not a telegraph pole.
