USAFMTL Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Fellas Are most of you using the default configuration? Or are you setting your own? Is even recommended to map your own keys? [sigpic][/sigpic] US Air Force Retired, 1C371 No rank or title will ever be as important as the unit patch you wear.
dburne Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 I am using the default, I personally see no reason to create a profile for it in Target as the sim assigns everything appropriately. Now a disclaimer, I am new to the sim and am only now going through some of the training. I love the Warthog and the fact this sim assigns it like it does. The only thing I mapped, was the zoom to the throttle friction slider axis. 159th_Viper Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 It's Plug-and-Play so definitely default here, apart from the extra buttons not mapped to A-10C functions that are utilised for TS PTT (Mic Switch Up) etc etc. Novice or Veteran looking for an alternative MP career? cichlidfan Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 (edited) I have a Target profile for mine because I wanted to do some things that can't be done in the sim. I use Target profiles for all my sims as opposed to programming within the sim. EDIT: It really isn't a 'recommend or not' situation, it is purely a matter of what you want to do with the controller, how much work you want to put into it and personal taste. MTFDarkEagle Posted August 16, 2012 Posted August 16, 2012 Plug and play and tucked in for the night don't forget the covers  Haha dead right ;) They got their own place in the cockpit :D OT: Left all plug-n-played, apart from TS PTT on the throttle, and zoom/nvg/eject functions on the stick with the paddle as modifier.
