sam777777 Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Well, would you look at that. It's WW2 era aircraft and it yearns to takeoff on a grass strip like its brethren. <VAAF> Virtual Australian Air-Force :joystick::pilotfly:
Pyroflash Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 I once tried landing on the grass with the P-51D. It ended rather spectacularly (I crashed). If you aim for the sky, you will never hit the ground.
sobek Posted September 28, 2012 Posted September 28, 2012 Did you use all 4 audio tracks from the 4 renders? Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa! Use punctuation, save lives!

ED Team JimMack Posted September 29, 2012 ED Team Posted September 29, 2012 I once tried landing on the grass with the P-51D. It ended rather spectacularly (I crashed). Interestingly, in testing, I ran out of fuel and managed to make a dead-stick landing in a field. I was very careful with vsi. The fields were in the north of the area. Maybe collision detection was not fully implemented in the area? Having problems? If you keep the aircraft dead straight and are careful with the rate of decent, it's not too difficult to get her down in a relatively flat field. Let her stray a little left or right though and you're going to crash. Virtual Horsemen - Right Wing (P-51) - 2008... Virtual Ultimate Fighters - Lead (P-47) - 2020...

In Il2 it doesn't really matter, in DCS it's like in real life, nasty and unpredictable. <VAAF> Virtual Australian Air-Force :joystick::pilotfly:

I know voice overlaps 4 times but I tried to sync it. each resolution was 1366x768, to 1920X1080 HD™ Not a good idea, since even if you'd sync them at sample resolution, you would still have signals in there that are not completely equal, but still have high correlation, which results in interference effects heard in the vid. Better to only replay one track, possibly cut from what is currently being highlighted in the vid, if you want to make it fancy. Good, fast, cheap. Choose any two. Come let's eat grandpa!
