Yes it is 100% real.

I mean an active camo pattern , or just some joke or special event .

Its disgusting , whoever designed that should be shot in the bollocks with a whale gun !!!

it was designed to simbolize operational service of Mig-21 in years 1961-2005 longest service in our air force.

Now this jets stand as monument in Caslav airfield.

I don't like these "special" paint jobs, they are not actual paint scheme for service aircraft, they are just one off. If in sim all we have are aircraft with these type of paint jobs it looks stupid (to me anyway)

No longer active in DCS...

Me too, I'm not interested in paint schemes that are not real

Im not really even interested in tigermeet or centienery ones to be honest . Just plain ol camo for me .

As I posted a while back, there's the Mig-21s the USAF operated on the Nevada range as part of CONSTANT PEG. I really want to fly those on that map!

are some of those Mig 21 skins fictional? like the argentine one??

If so, pls clearly mark them as fictional in the mission editor for separating them from the authentic ones...

cheers

Thanks you so much Bezcl for the Argentinian Skin. Definitely the first one I'll be using.

With some imagination we can use de Mig-21 as the Dagger, Mirage III, Skyhawk or Super Etandar that Argentina used in the 1982 Malvinas-Falklands conflict. More over with the coming Harrier module.

Beczl , I think this paint scheme can be interested for you. This is one of the last produced Izd.75 in Soviet Union. And the one of last Mig-21, that was in servise in russian VVS.

Plane was served in 797 training regiment of Krasnodar fighter school at Kushevskaya airfield untill 1990. Now this plane is in Avaition museum at Taganrog airbase. Earlier, in 90-s, in Taganrog was dislocated special base for destroying planes (6024 База ликвидации авиационной техники), and this Mig was saved from autogen blast. Thats why this is the one of last alive Soviet Airforce Mig-21

Paint is very easy. Overall gery-blue. Blue 03, and specific yellow eye on the nose.

If you intrested in this scheme, I can give you additional information about this, and another planes from this museum. My email ivan(at)goodde.ru. Im Mig-21 fan too;), and i took part in restoration of this and anoter planes in this museum

Sorry for my poor english

Hi beczl, about "material editor" panel for your skins, do you use your own settings or you use vanilla settings ?

I'm not 100% sure what you want to ask.
