1.2.2 CRASH and then unable to rejoin server

If there are AI Aircraft in your mission and they land and shut down you will get CTD'd, ntl.dll, kernal32.dll error or client disconnect. When you try to rejoin, you will usually get an appcrash.

 

Clear out your temp files and .trk,s and rejoin.

Eh tyger... the boys at ED know about this one? That explains that sound error we keep getting with the planewind.etc?

 

Be nice to get that one resolved... more than half our missions involve that kind of thing. On a plus side... a little less than half depend on it- so we can run those pretty reliably!

Please re-check 1.2.2.7570 for the AI aircraft shutting down, i believe this was fixed when tested last thursday during closed MP testing.

Just a around 10 Crashes on STP VIII Server with the mission Dragons Hardcore Terrorists loaded :(

Attached is the latest log (though they're pretty much the same, appart from the date/time)

 

edit: happened relatively randomly, sometimes while loading in the launcher, but most of the times after around 3 minutes ingame

I've recently had problems as well, 1.2.2.7570

 

I'd join a server and usually before I can even take off, I crash. If I do get into the air, crash happens a short while after.

The game is pretty much as is, the only think I've done is added a custom connection speed. I did this in a previous version and had no issues until now.

What server and what mission? Could you attach track (just connect to server, load mission and exit - track will be saved in Saved Games\DCS\Tracks\Multiplayer)

Same stuff, still crashing almost every other join. And once you crash it's done, you aren't gettin back in that server until they change mission.;

Some things we have found helps for us at Shrek squadron.

 

1.We are only running missions with no A2A refuelling ( We get this crash more with them in )

2. Ensure your network speed is set to LAN in multiplayer options

What I don't get is how are servers running missions with tankers and having anyone in at all? I knowin one instance on my server we were testing it out and I was able to play on it but another one of our members who was playing through the same LAN connection couldn't log in. Next time the same mission got loaded and they were both in but I couldn't join.

 

Do they just roll the dice with it and whoever can't join can check back later? Or do they have a work around??

Damn, getting the same worldGeneral.dll > is_target_radiated crash today on 104th over and over, about 20 minutes after starting Su25T and heading over to target area 1 Kobuleti from Kolki. (Op Watcher V13)

 

Sucks.
