Liger Zero Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 (edited) First off, best wishes to all for 2013. I hope it will be a good year for you and your loved ones. For the LLTMCrew the year could have started a bit better. The LLTM website is down (working on it) and a very late announcement to the community. But the good news: we are on for LLTM2013. March 21 – 24 @ WZZRD Enschede, The Netherlands. We know it’s a very late call but we hope that you will be able to join and make it happen, instead of having another LLTM event cancelled. We want to thank all community members who suggested us possible LLTM locations throughout Europe. There were some very beautiful, fitting and tempting locations and offers amongst them. Thank you all for the effort you have put in helping us, and the community out. On matters of registering, arrangements and options available for LLTM2013, we need to wait until the website is up and running again. The aim is to have a buffet and possible sleeping arrangements available. But please bear with us. Your first task now is to check your agenda and left-over holidays to spend on yourself and the LLTM community. ;-) Keep your eye on the LLTM Facebook page for the latest. Spread the news. http://www.facebook.com/pages/LowLand-Tiger-Meet/159740540828152 The Location of WZZRD is almost next to the FC Twente stadium ---------------------------------------------------------------------- http://eshop.lowlandtigermeet.com THe registration is now open. You can add your items to the cart. The standard entry fee is 57 euro. And you can add a Lunch for 8,50 euro a Dinner for 11 euro a sleeping spot for 15 euro a night. and at the end the standard taxes will be added. Remember at the moment there are a limited number of 105 sleeping spots Edited February 10, 2013 by Liger Zero added new info
Supersheep Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 I think I know the place. Is it close to the UTwente, Colosseum 68? Tempting! Two Q's, if you don't mind: Just in case: Can I come there as visitor w/o my rig? And if I can bring my gear: Can I fly without participating in contests? Supersheep Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 That massively increases the chance that I can come there. Looking forward! Super- The PVC Pipe Joystick Stand How to thread

Rhinox Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 Excelent news, man! I was checking lltm-web regularly and was quite dissapointed seeing it down, thinking of the worst. I'm happy I was wrong! BTW, for us "non-lowlanders": what is that "WZZRD"?

MasterZelgadis Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 What happened to the location Ahaus in Germany? "Sieh nur, wie majestätisch du durch die Luft segelst. Wie ein Adler. Ein fetter Adler." http://www.space-view.net
Liger Zero Posted January 3, 2013 Author Posted January 3, 2013 What happened to the location Ahaus in Germany? I'm not in the LLTM Commitee so i don't know the exact answer to that.
MasterZelgadis Posted January 3, 2013 Posted January 3, 2013 Sad to see that LLTM isn't at Tobit.Software anymore. Especially because I am an employee of Tobit.Software for a year now :D "Sieh nur, wie majestätisch du durch die Luft segelst. Wie ein Adler. Ein fetter Adler." http://www.space-view.net
Joe Kurr Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 Fantastic!!! But i have to sqeeze this in to my car again:) ... Pleas attend if you can, you won't regret it! Cheers Should be no problem, you managed before :D What happened to the location Ahaus in Germany? The new hall we were put in for the last two events wasn't suitable at all for the LLTM (in contrast to Hangar 23, which was perfect) With the glass walls and roof there was too much light in there. People were trying to block the sun with sunshades, boxes, blankets, etc. The location at WZZRD doesn't have this problem, there will be no daylight in the hall we will be sitting in. All I can say is: Attend if you can, we will have some great missions for DCSW and FC2 as well! Dutch Flanker Display Team | LLTM 2010 Tiger Spirit Award
MasterZelgadis Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 Hm, the hangar is still there (even the jet in it :) ), but I fear it is used as a storage room now.. Sadly the virtual aero is also gone, but the jeep safari and the offroad rallye simulators are also nice.. But Enschede is not far from Ahaus, I think I will be there this year, but only to visit and watch :D "Sieh nur, wie majestätisch du durch die Luft segelst. Wie ein Adler. Supersheep Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 DCS Missions? Do you hook up the net to the internet to be able to talk to master server or was there a change in DCS that I'm not aware of? You make me want to bring my gear :) Regards, Super- The PVC Pipe Joystick Stand How to thread
Joe Kurr Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 There should be internet available, so this will be one event where DCS multiplayer shouldn't be a problem :) Dutch Flanker Display Team | LLTM 2010 Tiger Spirit Award

MTFDarkEagle Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 Oh for real I'm going to be there!! That's like a 20 minute drive from where I live! (borne) Not going to bring my pit though, it's all integrated in my room and table. But hell yeah I'm going to go there and meet ya'all! Joe Kurr Posted January 4, 2013 Posted January 4, 2013 I'm hoping I'll be able to bring my rig and fly some DCS P-51 there - but flying with my entire rig may be an issue :/ I've forwarded this to Ice, the main organizer of this event. Maybe it is possible to only bring your PC and HOTAS, and get a monitor, keyboard and mouse from Wzzrd. But no promises, we'll have to wait for an answer from Wzzrd...
