To spread the word even further, I believe that Matt Wagner should host his own DCS related radio on BlogTalk Radio. There, he could link this Radio Show from Facebook and Twitter to get a larger following of listeners.

That is what he said in the interview, yes. However, he proceeded directly into discussing 3rd party modules, so it was a little unclear where Eagle Dynamics was responsible and where 3rd party's were involved. Based upon what I've read in the forums and the most recent DCS World promo vid, it all seems to line up that those 3 aircraft and FW190 will all be Eagle Dynamics.

First priority, get Combined Arms and Flaming Cliffs 3 released.

Next step will probably be DCS Fighter... the F-15C in full DCS splendor with the new AFM.

He did mention as well that they would continue to support the simplified Flaming Cliffs paradigm with its reduced learning curve, while continuing to develop A-10C, F-15C, etc... advanced modules for those of us who love that. I believe the intent is to cast a wider net, while keeping everyone flying together online via the DCS World platform. Awesome IMO.

I would have liked to hear about 1.2.3, but... then again... we know it's imminent, weekend by weekend, depending upon the successful resolution of various MP issues primarily.

It would be cool to have a regular ED podcast hosted by you @Wags. BTW, you did just fine in your interview and your speech had a good cadence, was easy to understand and you came across as positive and in-touch with your customers.

If it's true that ED is working on these aircraft (I haven't heard the radio interview yet), what's wrong with F-15, F-18, and Su-27? That's a great combo. What were you hoping for, an F-22?

Dont expect A-10C quality if F-22 is developed by whoever. As Matt said there is not enough data and info because most of it is still confidential. Not in those exact words though...

Yes but he'll just be preaching to the small group of people that know the genre all too well. I believe the idea here is to take it to the non-flight sim people.

Just listened and I'll get to the part we've been waiting for.

Kudos: "What's the next airplane you'll be bringing to the fold."

Wags: "We have several aircraft in development right now. Study sim level F-15C. F/A-18C. Su-27SM Hornet. FW190 which would be a great counter part for the Mustang."

Then he went into the third party modules as such "UH-1 third party. Mig 21 third party. A Cobra and a bunch of other aircraft."

And before all that Wags called us crazy. :weight_lift_2:

Well, guys, I'm happy. :D Three of my all time favorite aircraft made ED's to-do list, and not third party.

I didn't listen to the interview, but the way you've transcribed it suggests that only the F-15 is "study sim level". Did you get the sense that that's what Wags was actually implying?

I could imagine the F/A-18C and Su-27SM only being done to FC standards (although that would be disappointing), but it's harder to imagine an FC level Fw-190 next to the DCS Mustang.

I believe the brevity is for the sake of time they allowed him, and it'd be odd if he were to repeat study sim level for all four. My opinion is the hornet, crane and fw will get the study sim royale. :D Exciting times ahead await us for sure.

That's quite alright because earlier in the interview he basically admitted that he is one of us!! :P

...and that was the second time this week that he has called us that. :pilotfly:

My co-works say I'm crazy, as does my wife, about all flight-Sims!

I had owned them all at one time. But mostly all combat sims now.

Why he did not write it here in the forum? Where is the problem? He says in the video, he says in the interview, but here he does not want ..

You realize that a video that takes weeks to produce is a bit more official than a forum post?

This is an internet forum. But linked from this thread you have him, talking in his own voice, live, on radio... How much more official do you want it? ;)

If you have not done so, go to the linked site and listen to the interview. ;)
