Bee_Sting Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Can someone tell me why when i'm playing DCS games after some time,I get kicked out of the game to desktop to windows main screeen?
Vlerkies Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 I doubt its windows 7 doing it mate, it's a widely used op system. (are you 32 or 64?) You would need to provide quite a bit more detail in an effort to get some help. System specs, drivers, a bit more on the crash etc. Thermaltake View 91, Z390 Gigabyte Aorus Ultra, i9 9900K, Corsair H150i Pro, 32Gb Trident Z 3200, Gigabyte Aorus Extreme 2080ti, Corsair AX1200i, Warthog A-10 Hotas, MFG Crosswind pedals, TiR5 Pro, HP Reverb Pro
mr_mojo97 Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 Happens to me too. Not often though and when it does it's usually on the ramp during start up. Bee_Sting Posted March 28, 2013 Author Posted March 28, 2013 (edited) ok! it starts when i play a game for an hour or 2 and then this happens. i was thinking a virus or something. it's not a crash it's like if i hit the windows desktop button(button with the windows icon on it). mr_mojo97 Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 I'm also 64 bit. Does it happen in other equally graphically or memory intensive games? SkateZilla Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 you have a program fighting for Cursor control running in the system tray. Skype, MSNMsgr, and a bunch of other programs will fight for cursor control and randomly gain it, and when you click something it will minimize DCS. SkateZilla Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 check your temps, GPU can Overheat and the driver can recover after the GPU resets it self. Sorin Posted March 28, 2013 Posted March 28, 2013 DCS is a very demanding program, like any decent flight simulator. Ideally there should be no other program running when DCS runs. Just close all programs before your start DCS, including those from system tray. Check with Task Manager and kill eventual stubborn programs.
Bee_Sting Posted March 28, 2013 Author Posted March 28, 2013 Where can I find this system tray and task manager?
