A stall but we need to discover what caused the Pitch up in the first place. Shifting load is a suspect ...If that is the case there is not a lot the pilots could have done about ... get outside the c of g range and thats it its all over... but like all these events not worth presuming to much until the investigation is complete.

it was carring military vehicles and apparently they shifted towards the rear on takeoff

How do you apparently have access to that info ..... nothing in the wreckage would determine that ?

The crew apparently reported a load shift on the radio.

From Aviation Herald:

"Several observers on the ground reported the National Air Cargo Boeing 747-400 had just lifted off and was climbing through approximately 1200 feet when it's nose sharply rose, the aircraft appeared to have stalled and came down erupting in a blaze... According to a listener on frequency the crew reported the aircraft stalled due to a possible load shift."

I saw a piece on the news saying they were carrying some IFVs (or something similar) to Dubai and they were guessing that they broke free of their hold-down chains and shifted rearward, thus causing the CG shift
