Linx Posted May 13, 2013 Posted May 13, 2013 I dont think so without FC3, you could try to add CustomHumanData[PlaneType.Su_30 ] = CWSType.iCWS_Su_27 instead of 25t, but if that works it would replace the functions of the elint with radar again. There must be a way to combine those 2, maybe functions addind elint pod on/off Tried that but it just spawns me without cockpit. Hopefully there is way to make these functions work simultaneously. (even for non FC3 owners :P )

I was thinking the same. However isnt there a way to call the function from the su-25t? And adding it as another function to the SU-27/30 via some kind of bypass? But I'm not a supporter of modding ED's Assets and splicing together peices to make a free flyable of a normally purchased plane. Which is why I posted what I did above, I edited out my abrasive 2nd line from the post after I posted it. However; Making some planes flyable that arent flyable at all (ie F-16, F-14, etc etc) are good from a movie making standpoint :), cuz Sometimes You just wanna keep up foreign relations, and I Seriously doubt the AI will fly close proximity to an enemy aircraft inverted. Edit: I just watched your video again and you are now at the step I was stuck at. That plane now is only as good as the Su-25T. You lost your BVR and other air to air modes just for that. The way the plane is setup as I posted, you can not do the anti-radiation mission. If you want that, what you did will work but your air to air is now only good for heaters and close range fighting. That's on Combatace's side. Hes the one that did the Su-30. I just made it working with the new cockpit.

I checked the files all are OK. Anyone has any idea? Also. I do own FC3 and I can say that the missiles are quite aligned with the pilons. But I cannot place the ELINT pod although I added the CLSIDs mentioned above. ANd... there's a file: comm.lua that apparently controls what type of plane is and what I key does... Radar or Elint. But I didn't tested yet. Evilducky Posted May 13, 2013 Author Posted May 13, 2013 Zaelu go into the input folder in your saved game folder, under your user folder, in the su27 and see if there is a facetrack folder. If there is, just copy that over to the su30 that should be in there now.

Next go to the option and key commands in game, shouldnt have to do anything, and quit out of the option and go see if that fixes it for ya :)

Evilducky Posted May 14, 2013 Author Posted May 14, 2013 so this flyable su-30 mod is with the vanilla version, not the Combatace's 3d model? if yes, can you make it with the Combatace's model, plz :thumbup: Just download combats model if you haven't already, open up the folders till you get to the 4 main ones, take just the Bazar folder and throw that right into your dcs world folder, then the rest will be from my mod. Let me know if you still need help and ill do my best. :)

Try going to CustomHuman and add this line: CustomHumanData[PlaneType.Su_30 ] = CWSType.iCWS_Su_25t Should enable the use of ELINT. So is there any way to make radar work on DCS World? If you don't touch the customhumandata.lua file, the radar and stuff will work again but you'll lose the ability to do the anti-radar stuff. That I believe is hard coded into the Su-25T and cant be implimented on any other aircraft without pretty much making it the 25T through that customhumandata.lua file. Sadly I believe its one or the other, you cant have both :(
