Suchacz Posted July 23, 2013 Author Posted July 23, 2013 (edited) The flexi sight for co-pilot now has no aiming reticule its disappeared.Try to: - set Master Arm to "Armed", maybe "Safe" position should be OK too, dunno now or, when Master Arm doesn't help - click the switch on the copilot's sight to light the sight's bulb or - RTB and trounce your ground crew :D Edited July 23, 2013 by Suchacz Per aspera ad astra! q800 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 "m" I know how to bring the sight down. I don't know, how to turn it on. When i acivate guns, i have old aiming reticle on co-pilot place (which is as it should be) and this nasty, fake, orange, thick gun reticle on pilot's place, that have been there before update.
q800 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 I think he means that only the console dial works for all your lights. All other knobs do nothing No change there for me. I'm waiting patiently for them to add keybinds to this , the LOW RPM Switch and a few others mentioned in the bugs section. That's what i'm talking about. To be correct, not all lights work.

Flagrum Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 That's strange, so when sitting in the pilot seat you get the circle but no mounting that swings down? For me it is like this: the mounting swings down, but has no circles. The circles instead are drawn outside of the device, like it was for me before ... and as I filed a bug for: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=107469 The pilot sights and the device are two separate things ... that don't (yet) really fit together.

Instead of nice new reticle, i have the old one that is connected to co-pilot's sight position. jay43 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Yeah same as mine the flexi sight is better I think, I noticed after jumping in the co-pilots seat then shifting back to the pilots seat the reticule is off and won't re-centre like yours. But stowing the sight then bringing it back down seemed to correct it. Eagles may soar high but weasel's don't get sucked into jet engines. System Spec. TaliG Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 (edited) Overhead cockpit light rheostats still do not work... Night birds and IFR lovers like me, are waiting for this fix like we wait for the train while we are late for work :smilewink: I would definitely prefer the rheostats and instrument lights fixed over the addition of the pilots flex sight.. flyer49 Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 (edited) Hey Tali...If I understand you right, you have to swipe the rheostats to turn them on. They're not clickable...I had to learn the hard way. I turn the overhead and panel lights on most every night (I like flying at night also). Place your mouse over the selected knob (rheostat) while holding down your left mouse. You should see the little green circular icon. Pull the mouse from above the knob to just below it and you'll see the knob turn, Most times you have to do it twice to get the full brightness of the control. I hope this helps Edited July 23, 2013 by flyer49 [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] 229th battalion, 1st Cavalry
newbie2k Posted July 23, 2013 Posted July 23, 2013 Or more easy: just navigate with the mouse cursor over the rheostat and turn the mousewheel :-)

I have same issue, I can turn the lighting switches and get illumination on the centre and top panel, but my main instruments remain dead. marker Posted July 24, 2013 Posted July 24, 2013 I had the off centre target for the pilot, turned off the new trackir setting in the special section I am sure it is and it was centred the next restart. I've just turned my co-pilot's view a little to the right. The old marker has nothing to do with the new device, they're not connected in any way. View on your picture is alligned because you and your co-pilot look in the same direction, straight forward. I guess it's still WIP, which suck a little, as now i have to watch only-aesthetic sight that doesn't work, with fake, prosthetic marker and is not visible in external view or from gunner position. Kills immersion a bit and painfully reminds it's beta. I'm not in game dev, so i'm not gonna ask why this small thing wasn't fully implemented after such a long time since last update. i have a feeling that they could do better that this. Nevermind.
