Can some one remind me how you start a campaign from the ramp rather than runway.

I always enjoy the ramp start sequence as i feel the regular use of my memory will halt the onset of senile dementia.

Do you mean delete all the waypoints and re insert as i cant seem to change the dialogue box for the take off waypoint

You do not need to edit the way points. Just select the aircraft icon in the mission editor and where it says "TYPE" in the properties menu, change it to "Take off from ramp". Save the mission and your good to fly. If you want to change your parking spot, you can change the "PRK" to the right of the "TYPE" to pick your parking spot.

Many Thanks,

Hope fully this will end the continuing problem of my wing man shunting me up the jacksee as a veer left and right like a drunken tramp along the run way

The way to solve that is to start your roll on the far edge of the runway away from your wingy and stay there. Don't forget to cycle your NWS at the correct speed which will help keep you from over-controlling. As you depart the runway, turn slightly away from your wingman.

guess you misunderstood the question. It is about starting the aircraft cold and dark instead of running and placed on the rwy

All sorted now with the GHCA campaign, . Thanks for the tips on take off though. I seem to start of skew, using the toe brakes on the pedals i think its down to right foot slightly quicker than the left. bit its all part of the fun

Thanks again
