elcoo Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Hi, in version 1.2.5 the huey had very fine scratches on the glass, reflecting the sun and creating a pretty neat effect. Now in 1.2.6 the scratches are bulky and the texture resolution is way too low... it's looking kind of ugly now :( It's not a big problem, but it's definetly worse than before, so if it get's fixed in the next version, that'd be cool :)
monkie Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 I never noticed it in 1.2.5 maybe because I was using the dirty glass MOD? I notice it now and yes it's a bit fuzzy. Sager Laptop, i7-6700k 4.00GHz, 16GB RAM, GTX 980M, 1920x1080, TIR 5, Windows 10
TurboHog Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 Really a matter of taste. 1.2.5 Didn't have the scratches as far as I know but I used the dirty windows mod. Now with 1.2.6 BST has added some scratches and I like them... 'Frett'
Suchacz Posted September 7, 2013 Posted September 7, 2013 1.2.5 Huey had the same glass crazings as P-51D Per aspera ad astra! elcoo Posted September 7, 2013 Author Posted September 7, 2013 (edited) 1.2.5 Huey had the same glass crazings as P-51D Correct, and although you could see the repetition they were ok. I looked into the texture files and saw, that it still uses the p-51 scratch texture, just stretched along the whole window, which obviously the 256x256 texture wasn't intended for. EDIT: Played around with the shaders, results below: View in full size, it's aliased in the resized version Edited September 7, 2013 by elcoo

hreich Posted September 10, 2013 Posted September 10, 2013 So how did you fixed it? What did you changed with shaders to get old scratches? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] Pilot from Croatia
