The best way to fire of ungided rockets in 1.2.6.

Any idea how to do the best aim of rockets now?

As default - the pilot sight shows focus of fire for miniguns only. In beta before we had two position of pilot sight (this big yellow circle before) - for miniguns and for rockets (it works as auto if we change miniguns to rockets). Maybe the best way in the future create too same in update? Differen settings of pilot sight for miniguns and for rockets only like was before but on XM60E1 now ("stow mode" like in manual).

Now it looks like this:

We can only anticipate focus of fire rackets.

I think you can adjust the elevation settings with the left ring on the sight.

And adjust the HUD FOV to I did that and now its spot on rockets and guns on the centre cross.

Eagles may soar high but weasel's don't get sucked into jet engines.

Erm... after the update I don't see the reticle anymore... I just updated... am I doing anything wrong? Also the mouse aim seems not to be working...

We have a chart of elevation settings on the sight, but imho it is only for minigun firing. We need some corrections or a new chart for rockets.

You must turn the bulb on using the switch on the top of the sight (it's hidden behind the chart) and turn the brightness to the max (or what you like) using the knob on the left of the sight

Ahh thats why I need about +25 degrees for my usual range. I thought the chart was crap :music_whistling:

How do you adjust the HUD field of view? I assumed the only correction you had for rockets was the elevation knob which you had to set each time you changed from guns to rockets and vise versa...unless that's what you mean by adjusting field of view.

If not, could you elaborate on how you set up for each weapon.

Ya, I'm not clear on that either.
