ClearDark Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Hey guys, Due to the upcoming release of HawgTouch 1.6, which will open support to all DCS modules, Ive decided to make a UH-1H gauge pack for those with glass cockpits/external monitor setups. This first preview of the first 7 gauges in the pack, prior to release there will be at least 18 out of the 24 gauges in the UH-1H cockpit. For those of you who don't know what HawgTouch is, you can click on my signature down below and see demonstration videos with the A-10C module :) In the future, an Mi8T gaugepack will follow too! 2

showtime817th Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Looking forward for program, keep up the good work. I have a question ClearDark or MadTomy, I have started with my Huey IP and cut outs for the gauges. Are you saying I will use notepad to resize the gauges to fit the holes on the IP or will I be able to click on a gauge to resize and move it around on the IP monitor? Showtime. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Necroscope Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Good point to take a look on Hawg once again. Thanks for your work. Всех убью, один останусь!
sondo214 Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 I don't seem to quite understand exaclty what this programm will do... If I am guessing right, if I have a second monitor, I will be able to have these instuments running on it? Or do I need internet for some reason?
cichlidfan Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Don't.. await CD to release the next version. It will take away A LOT of the work required to implement. I working with him on some of this.. trust me the next version will be much more user friendly. :) Cool. Thanks for the heads up and I will be looking forward to it. showtime817th Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 I'm not sure what you mean by IP monitor?... But all the panels and gauges can be resized as a % of what size they are. They can also be located anywhere via x/y pixel coordinates, i.e you have full control over size & location. Thank you! You answered my question. The "IP" is instrument panel that I cut out and lay it over my monitor that I use for gauges. After reading it agin i was a little confuse too lol. Thanks you and I'm sure I will have more question to follow. Showtime. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

If I am guessing right, if I have a second monitor, I will be able to have these instuments running on it? Or do I need internet for some reason? You can have all the helicopter instruments on a second monitor, along with toggle switches, rotary switchse and all sorts of cockpit controls to manipulate your aircraft from a 2nd monitor (or touch screen). You can also use HawgTouch in "REMOTE" mode and monitor someone else's "flying" using the online capabilities, and alot more. Showtime : Resizing gauges will be done as Tommy said on the XML, with the editor you can also resize them very easily, however resizing during "runtime" will not be supported :)
the_soupdragon Posted October 3, 2013 Posted October 3, 2013 Can I export these gauges to my Ipad? SD [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

ClearDark Posted October 4, 2013 Author Posted October 4, 2013 Can I export these gauges to my Ipad? SD There is a capability to export gauges to a browser supporting Silverlight, so if you can get a compatible browser on the iPad I think its quite possible.
LiveBait Posted October 6, 2013 Posted October 6, 2013 (edited) Nice work ClearDark, I'm looking forward to this. Does this include radio frequencies? edit: Ok, i figured out that they wont be, so let me rephrase it, Do you have plans on including the radio frequencies? Edited October 7, 2013 by LiveBait
UH1Fan Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Great work, I've been looking forward to something like this. A local laser cutting shop said they could cut a UH-1 instrument panel out of steel sheet for under $75. I'm working on specs for a panel and have a lot of measurements but if anyone else here has anything done (Solidworks file etc) I'd appreciate any help. Thanks.
hansangb Posted October 7, 2013 Posted October 7, 2013 Hmm, that's not a bad idea. I do have the Lilliputs/Thrustmaster MFDs for my A10 flying, but can't use it for HUEY. Well, I'm using the MFDs but w/o the background. hsb HW Spec in Spoiler --- i7-10700K Direct-To-Die/OC'ed to 5.1GHz, MSI Z490 MB, 32GB DDR4 3200MHz, EVGA 2080 Ti FTW3, NVMe+SSD, Win 10 x64 Pro, MFG, Warthog, TM MFDs, Komodo Huey set, Rverbe G1
