I will start TOOTALL Host (1.2.8 UP1) and you could check. P.S. Do not forget to power the radios!!! We have small BUG after Update 1!!! http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?...73&postcount=6
Esac_mirmidon Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Thanks mate. I know about that bug on mi-8. Also i want to know if it's posible yo add custom beacons with a vehicle in the editor transmitting in a given frequency. To have more options plus scripts and triggers. Yes, it's possible to add custom beacons with a vehicle in the editor, transmitting in a given frequency. But one very important issue!!! Previously it was possible to add only 5 (five) transmitting objects via ME. If you are adding Radiotransmition objects via CTTS, it is UNLIMITED!!! Edited April 12, 2014 by airwar 1
Esac_mirmidon Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 Hey Airwar. Just finished a mission testing your script and works like a charm. It´s a wonderful mission and a great script. One question? How can i make the NDB transmission sounds spaced? Now the morse code is continuous and i want to heart it more or less since every 5 seconds for example. Could you be kind enough to help me please? Thanks in advance. " You must think in russian.." Esac_mirmidon Posted April 12, 2014 Posted April 12, 2014 I use Sony Vegas. So making a ogg file with a 5 seconds space could do the trick i think. " You must think in russian.." Yurgon Posted April 13, 2014 Posted April 13, 2014 A nice easy navigation mission. No VFR on this one, a working knowledge of ARC-9, radios and Doppler navigation are an advantage:) Nice one, thanks! One thing confused me, though: According to the Mission Editor map (and the Mission Planner map), the inner NDB west of Krasnodar-Center runway transmits on the same frequency as the inner NDB east of it. Accordingly, the outer NDBs west and east of the runway also transmit on the same frequency. I did some reading on the topic of runways with NDBs on both ends of the runway that both transmit on the same frequency (that is: two inner NDBs on the same frequency and two outer NDBs on the same frequency) in DCS. I finally figured out that, on such runways, only one inner and one outer NDB transmit at any given time. It depends on the wind direction which of the NDBs that is, so that an aircraft overflying the NDB while heading for the runway would always fly upwind (but I can't tell which NDBs would transmit with no wind at all). A quick test mission set up at Min Vody (where the inner and outer NDBs also transmit on the same respective frequencies) confirmed this behavior. Listening in on the NDB Morse codes, it's also easy to confirm that the NDBs, despite transmitting on the same frequency, do indeed use different Morse codes. Disclaimer: I have no clue whether this mimics real life behavior. I can only say with a high level of certainty that the above is true for DCS. For anyone equally confused and/or interested, here's an old but very interesting discussion on the topic: ADF/NDB Confusion

Zee Pet Posted August 16, 2014 Posted August 16, 2014 Ok, let me see if I get this straight. Flight path distance is akin to the height of a triangle (when using simple geometry rather than spherical geometry of great circle navigation when afaik you only use the flight path distance and cross track distance, leaving the track bearing as 000? ) and NOT the hypotenuse of the triangle? While drift angle(English cockpit mod) is the base of the triangle? ||i5-9600k||MSI GTX1070Ti Duke||16GB DDR4 G.SKILL Ripjaws V||Gigabyte Aorus B360||X56||
