It is not meaning of making it "equal" as in real life they are NOT. You want it or not typical Su-27 is far, far behind common F-15.

Also R-77 doesn't exist for RuAF, due its crappyness.

Reminder: Fighter pilots make movies. Bomber pilots make... HISTORY! :D | Also to be remembered: FRENCH TANKS HAVE ONE GEAR FORWARD AND FIVE BACKWARD :D

What he wanted to say is the Su-27 with R-77 will have an active head seeking missile. I mean is not a comparision, is only a point of view.

About your comparision: When were you in front a Su-27SM in real life?? When you say R-77 doesn't exist, I guess you mean the R-77 is the baseline of the RVV-MD. Anyway this Missile kept in develop till middle of of 2000s and was operative in a few quantity. But that doesn't mean the missile was not there.

Do it as it is,and we will find the way how to make kill. But dont compare F 15 K with first model off the Su 27 as usually.

Nice to hear that a lots of things are in progres.

Su-27 in FC3 is Su-27S, not SM.

R-77 is not operational in the RuAF, and never was operational. There were tests.

AIM-54 and MIM-104 (PAC3) have both been tested on F-15C. Neither went operational. Su-27S should have R-77's the same way F-15C should have AIM-54's and Patriots, or the Ka-50 have Iglas and Archers.

Non-russian Su-27 variants purchasing export R-77's could get to be a different story, when and if they are modeled. Russia itself decided not to bother with the R-77 as-is and instead worked on the RVV-series of missiles, which are also not yet operational with the RuAF. This is a very old discussion. :)

The solution is simple; have RuAF or Suchoi do an ANG. :)

This is going to be the first actually realistic 3D cockpit of the MiG-29 that I have seen! :D :D :D

Oh the days of Jane's Fighters Anthology, flying the MiG-29's and F/A-18E/F's. I still have it and it works (and plays) almost flawlessly on my Windows 8 64 bit system! Very suprising! After I updated it to 1.02, it doesn't seem too fast, but it is too slow. I mean seriously, when you are going 500 knots, it looks like you are going 200. Now I feel like playing it again. Time to put in the disc and run it...:)

If you want to talk to anyone about anything personal, send it to their PM box. Interpersonal drama and ad hominem rebuttal are things that do not belong on a thread viewed by the public.

One thing i have to point out... naming a thread.. "OK, so" is as useful as tits on a bull.

R-77 and RVV-AE is the same thing - "R-77" was the original designation for Soviet forces, while "RVV-AE" was an export name for the same weapon and is in operational use with the Indian airforce.

The further development of the R-77/RVV-AE is called "RVV-SD"(not "RVV-MD" which is a further development of the R-73).

The upgraded Su-27SM was made compatible with the RVV-AE, but the RuAF might not have acquired it - maybe because the export item contains non-Russian components or maybe simply because they want to hold out for the above mentioned further developed RVV-SD to become operational instead.

At any rate the Su-27 variant in the game is the old Su-27S from 1984 and just putting RVV-AEs on its pylons does not make it an -SM.
