The folks in Vegas dearly love people who are willing to make wagers without any actual facts. ;)

Don't expect to get details on paper, those kind of military contract won't ever be published.

If you wanna train your pilot on a single seated combat helicopter , well then you really need a simulator ;)

Almost every aircraft company do the same .

Kamov Prolly built the simulator and sold it to whomever,

Whether or not they (Kamov/Army/Military) licensed parts of The Battle Simulator Software, The Fighter Collection Simulation Engine (TFCSE) or Forward Air Control Simulation Engine (FACSE), is another story.

For the same reason you will not see Corsica, Afghanistan or Alabama from Concord XXI; You will not see the KA-52 or Su-35 Flanker Products from Kamov/Army/Whomever, as they are Military Training / Simulation Platforms and not Consumer Products.

What makes you think it was a military contract?

A lot of ED's contracts - at least in my limited knowledge - have no direct dealings with any military. Stop making this stuff up.

Chances are really high that ED did those, as they were always doing pro contracts, that gave birth to dcs a10c as the us army agreed to release it minus some stuff .

It was the US Air Force, ANG (Air National Guard). The US Army doesnt have A-10Cs.

i said in most of my reply probably or i bet

But now wasn't dcs a10-c for the army ? IF yes, why would the US army go to them ? perhaps because they made some others before ?

edit my bad US Air force

Or maybe they just made that good a bid for a very specific niche of trainer. I'll say it again: Stop making assumptions based on things that you don't actually know :)

Finally, don't assume that because a sim was made for one military entity it will be made for another. It just doesn't work that way.

but the probabilty they have done it isn't aswell null

But yes i'm just assuming and might be wrong, that is also why i posted this topic so we could get some answers :pilotfly:

The answer is that there's pretty much no chance for a DCS-level simulation of Ka-52 or Su-35, which also probably means ED will not do either of those. Probably.

Nothing in the Ka-52 news clip implies that it's based on ED technology. Or am I just not seeing something?

Ka-52 cockpit looks 3D-6DOF in a PC sim - maybe the cockpit model maker was the same person who made the Ka-50 pit for DCS:BS

TBH, The Terrain, Tree, Sky, Color Pallete/Cold Colors and Some Ground Object Textures Look alot like what is Currently in DCS.

Im Pretty sure there was an Interview in 2011, where Wags said:

While at TFC/ED I've produced Flaming Cliffs 2, DCS: Black Shark, DCS: A-10C, and several military training projects

So the appearance of Training Platforms Running a Variation of TFCSE from 2011 is not all that surprising.

thanks, does it belong to ed ?

TFC are the publishers for ED.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Ah, TBS - the first true hint of the F/A-18C module AFAIK, how would I forget? :D

As a rule: has ED announced or mentioned the module/map? If yes, it'll probably happen. Otherwise, no at least for the time being.

On the topic of maps, correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't Corsica mentioned by RRG as a future map for DCS:WW2?
