DD_Crash Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 As the title says. I know that they are controlled by the Target software but can they be used to indicate anything useful?
CrackerJack Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 I have a Warthog throttle and I don't see any un-used LEDs?? Win 10 64-bit, Intel Core i7-7700k@4.2GHz, MSI 1080Ti , 16 GB, 500GB SSD, LG 34UM95, Acer T232HL, TrackIR 5 Pro, Thrustmaster Warthog HOTAS, Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals.
DD_Crash Posted December 26, 2013 Author Posted December 26, 2013 On the base of the throttle there is a row of 5 leds which can be turned on and off with the target software.
Yurgon Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 As the title says. I know that they are controlled by the Target software but can they be used to indicate anything useful? Short answer: yes. :D Slightly longer answer: I don't use them at all, but as an idea, they could be used to indicate that the cannon is selected in the Black Shark or that Gun/PAC is (not) switched on in the A-10C. Of course you'd have to use TARGET for this to work, which is why I ignore those LED's altogether. Maybe someone will come up with better ideas, though. :)
Kegetys Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 Back when I got my Warthog I made a C++ library for controlling those lights if anyone is interested, its available here: http://junk.kegetys.fi/pahkasikaLED.zip (It uses target DLLs). I havent tried if it still works with newer(?) target though. As a cyborg, you will serve SHODAN well http://www.kegetys.fi
Panthro Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 bind them to the LGL lights [sIGPIC]http://forums.eagle.ru/signaturepics/sigpic86362_2.gif[/sIGPIC]
dburne Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 Yes you can have those 5 lights come on with just about any event you want to bind them to, you can read how to do that in the Target Script Editor basics manual. I myself do not use them. Davee Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 As the title says. I know that they are controlled by the Target software but can they be used to indicate anything useful? Yes, including how bright I want each. I use them to indicate which flap/gear setup I'm using in COD for the Spit/Hurri/109 and BF110.
bn880 Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 I use them to indicate which layer (of the 6) that I'm in. As I have different aircraft set up under each layer. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
