FC 1.12 Patch Readme

Track files recorded in previous versions might not be played back correctly in this version.

This patch has rollback option, in order to play back old track files.

 

 

I need more info about this fuction . One of Ironhands clipped eagles track is very confuseing in the read me and I cant get it to play with voice over!!!

Thanks for that...OK I can refuel no problem....but in my A10 I just cant rearm... ALT R is the key correct?

 

Edit...OMG I just found it Ctrl W. Been through the keys several times..... Just printed the keys off (all 8 pages) and had a coffee and finally found it! Woot (as they say) :D

It looks like Fox1 are now very sensitive to chaffs. I've not been testing this thoroughly, but on a coop mission this afternoon, my mates shot 7 ER's at approximately 3/4 of max range without a single hit... Could be embarassing since AI aircraft ahve unlimited chaffs and flares :(

Ok GGTharos, I understand a little more now. However, there is still an issue for coop missions since AI aircraft has unlimited chaff/flares (and they also have a very dumb countermeasure logic in my opinion...). The next days will be quite interesting for my Air Defense mates, they have to learn A2A combat from the beginning :D

Missile flight dynamics and sensors are going through a constant evolution ... I do understand it's frustrating, but you shouldn't worry about it too much ... this way there's always something new to learn! :)

Hi !

 

I like to lurn, but seriously if effectiveness of R27er is around 20% as according to some prelimary test (non exaustive), I'm afraid it becomes nearly hopless to engage planes equiped with Fox3 in a Su27 with Fox 1&2.

I definitely agree with you, the more accurate the sim, the happier I am ;). It's just that human pilots now have a slight disadvantage against AI aircraft. Personnally, I don't care that much, I usually fly the Su-25(T) :D. But if my teammates escorting me in their flankers can't do their job, I'll start to frighten :p

For Crazy F,

 

I had a similar problem and it turned out to be a problem with Norton Internet Security. FC is trying to get to a server and the whole thing can lock up. Usually, you get the message box from Norton asking permission but in FC it never appears. Things just freeze solid. The older Norton code didn't do this so you may want to experiment with that.

As far as i can remember, one version of the KMGU container drops mines, the other dropping bomblets. And you can put mines on a map, as they are modelled as static objects (never tried it though...)

 

I tried all KmGU and none of them drop mines :(:(:(

 

I also searched for mines in the editor and still can't find :(:(

 

Anybody know if there are mines in FC????

lethality of 20mm and 30mm rounds

 

I`m just discovering 1.12a and for most of you this stuff is probably old news.

The gunzo business changed quite a bit and there is no mention about it in the readme file. The lethality of 20 & 30 mm rounds. The planes will explode

more readily now after being hit with a good tracking shot. The burning

fuel does what it`s supposed to do now. Good job on that ED.

I'm still getting what I assume is the F15 radar glitch with multiple "ghost" targets on it, even after 1.12a, and wondered if this a bug or a radar jamming! Please excuse the ignorance if it's the latter :(

Better late answer then no answer :)

I think you are confusing radar screen with TWS(Threat Warning System) and in russian aircrafts knows as RWR. Patch 1.12a fixed "ghost" radar paints and spikes showing up on TWS/RWR.

What you're possible seeing on your radar screen are probably "strobes". These are contacts that have their ECM active jammers on. But to be completely sure you could have taken some screenshots and have them attached to your post.
