Inspired by the 8th Tactical Fighter Air Base in Isfahan, Iran—the first IIAF airbase to receive the F-14 Tomcat in the late 1970s—the virtual TAB 8 was founded in 2019. Its tactical squadron, TFS 81, gained its first tactical experience by participating in the SATAL 2020 and GTAG 2v2 tournaments. TAB 8 is not only active on Discord, but also creates content for Instagram and DCS tutorials in Farsi on YouTube. As you might have guessed, TAB 8 has Iranian origins but is open to everyone, regardless of their background, as long as they speak English or Farsi. Last but not least, TFS 81’s public servers have been hosting engaging, self-developed PvE missions since 2018. We highly encourage you to stop by and have fun!

527th FS, 86th FG

Giving a brief summary, the 527th Fighter Squadron, based within the 86th fighter group, was activated in early World War II and was based around Europe flying fighter-bomber missions utilizing P-51B's and P-47D's. They then moved on to aircraft like the F-84 Thunderjet, the F-5E Tiger II, and the F-86F Sabre, during the Cold War Era. In the Post-Cold War Era, (Modern Day) they began to fly the F-16C and became an aggressor squadron. Although it is recommended to fly the aircraft named above, you are always welcome to fly whatever aircraft you'd like. This squadron will be doing any activities such as free flying, formation flying, combat practice, server-based missions, or just whatever you feel like. We welcome any players from completely new to DCS to skilled. Joining is not required, but we will be flying Sundays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 19:00 CT North America. Note: We will be flying on different multiplayer servers, NOT my own. Join the Discord voice channel first and then we will decide what multiplayer server to join.
