  2. But you can‘t slave the HSI to the NS430 to make the needle pointing at the waypoint direction, correct? Further you can‘t use the VHF frequency right?
  3. Okay, so, the difference as Miki said is trim button in Hind resets AP, so you fight the attitude hold AP as you pitch down and then trim and the extra cyclic to fight the AP is no longer needed as trim button centers attitude hold. I really recommend against using trim hat too much, look at right control + enter screen. You will hit the maximum limit of the pitch AP MUCH MUCH faster just using trim hat. Trim hat is meant for small adjustments. When your pitch AP hits its limits, it can no longer stabilize you or dampen your movements. I talk about it in my video on the Pitch/Roll AP and I give 3 different solutions to the “uncommanded pitch” after trim phenomenon. It slightly depends on your kind of stick, with FFB I prefer just rapidly trimming 2-3x. If you watch this, it will explain everything
  4. It is the whole reason S-24 points down. It caused a Mi-28 crash IRL. As someone else said. Launch from 100 kmh or higher
  5. So I guess no way to make it say “Check Ekran” lol
  6. Sooooooo SPO-15……..
  7. Hence me stating that F-15 has more modern digital suite (electronics is an obvious one, west had started with miniaturization of designs by that time). Still, how does "more modern antenna design" impact the real world performance. We sinply don't have that data. As to peak power - that is a simplified metric. Peak, means most often "not sustained". How long can it hold the peak, before overheating? What's the sustained power output, and how does it stack up against Su-27S's? Again, anything non-metric (numbers) is a best guess, and that seldomly conforms with reality. Even with all this taken into consideration, the eastern doctrine requires that at optimum, you compare a F-15A/C to a Su-27S with GCI/AWACS, along with its datalink and the whole shebang. Any aircraft radar is a big compromise of weight/size/power draw compared to their ground/sea counterparts. As such, from a doctrine - doctrine perspective, its a whole different equation. (Even though west started getting AWACS at some point and ground radar stations, it never had anything like the infrastructure that USSR had. It becomes wrong then to judge an aircraft vs. aircraft without taking into consideration the whole ideology, as it gives a skewed perspective of the contemporaries.). As a side note; as much as the ED MiG-29A (ASM) introduced the real MiG-29 with all its features and limitations, I do believe that the community will benefit from having a real F-15C modelled. That just to clear up the confusion from the FC3 fantasy.
  8. Was winwing customer service of any help? They haven't been for me.
  9. @TFS It can happen to all of us. Easy fix then!
  10. Today
  11. А где баг, не могу понять...
  12. I had this same problem and ultimately gave up and sold the MFDs. It shouldn't be that freaking complicated...

    CAVEAT EMPTOR

A customer of Winwing will want to go as far as weighing the unopened package as part of an unboxing video. They claim that they shipped all items as the package label had the correct weight listed for all items, but not all items were in the package.
  14. I couldn’t understand it from the manual, so this thread was very helpful. I’m wondering whether the fact that you can’t tell without performing this operation is actually the real aircraft’s specification.
  15. the thing is I cant even fly the f117 nighthawk because i cant find it in my mission editor can someone plz helpppppppppp
  16. Another user experienced same issue with SteamVR and Quest Pro, I passed on this info re: SteamVR beta you posted, totally fixed it.
  17. I know the Voice Warning Test button originally worked, but I have not been heard it since the patch. Is it a problem unique to my installation (which includes 3rd party software such as Voice Attack/VAICOM) or is this a global problem?
  18. You're welcome. I only recently learned about this here in the forum, because I asked about the functionality of this option.
  19. Wouldn’t it be great if walking around and climbing into aircraft was a feature that could be unified across all modules through Combined Arms? That way, ED could make a little extra money by selling that functionality, and it might give them further incentive to flesh out the development of Combined Arms. I think the DCS player base has enough geek-level nerds that would absolutely buy Combined Arms under those circumstances. I know I would! Imagine being driven out to a plane, getting out, and climbing in the plane with the help of your crew chief. Or how about landing an MI-8 on a nice alpine mountain, popping the rear clam shell open, and hanging your legs off the back while you have your sandwich. Maybe it doesn’t sound as cool on a flat screen, but in VR, the level of awesomeness would be off the charts! I’ll also add, Since DCS is a digital museum, and since plenty of effort is spent with the external artwork of modules, being able to walk around them gives everyone an opportunity to admire their artwork.
  20. I didn't notice it yesterday when I was dropping LGBs on moving targets. I definitely had the box around the point track target, but maybe I didn't notice it disappear when the laser turned on. Today I was just slinging MK-82s, and not using the laser.
  21. Welp.... Sir you win and I lose. I am wrong, I apologize to everyone, I apologize to all in discord who has heard me whining, and reinstalling, countless fxo and metashader clears, and game restarts, and waiting for loading, and messing with settings, and reverting gpu drivers.... ALL BECAUSE MY DUMBASS WAS CONVINCED, I bought the whole thing. Let the record show I only bought SW pre release and YOU SIR are correct for calling me out to check my license. It didn't cross my mind as I was so sure I bought it... thank you all for warm welcomed Ideas. I apologize and I will walk my shameful ass on out of here. Good day everyone. Thank you all!
  23. Taxi behavior is still bugged. Any wind over 7 knots will prevent you from turning away from it. The weather vaning effect is exaggerated. This was reported several patches ago but Mag3 seems uninterested in fixing it. You will be unable to turn 180 degrees on a moving carrier deck until it is fixed.
  24. SILENT mode does not "shut down" the transmitters and receivers like standby. In SILENT the receiver is still active and will do Angle Only Tracks and passive ranging (IRL, not implemented). The "ACTIVE" button is part of the QUICKLOOK function (also not implemented) that does some pseudo phased array trackfile update stuff. The radar just isn't doing constant transmitting with the Raster volume search pattern and is still able to transmit command links to in flight aim-120's. So this is correct function.

  26. The VFA-41 Black Aces have completed a 4-month deployment in support of NATO military activities on the Kola Peninsula. Pilots who participated in squadron missions have been awarded the campaign ribbon shown here. The squadron is now undergoing Inter-Deployment Training (IDT) at Nellis AFB to brush up on weapons systems anticipated to be needed in upcoming action.
