Thanks, but I think you misunderstood, my main priority isn't CA, it's their AI performance. Thus, having the more realistic radars is my main priority. If I wouldn't be able to find a way to implement them together with player control, I would choose the more advanced radar features.

Hello again Qcumber! You won't belive this! I managed to get rock- solid -stable : 72 FPS in multiplayer on Contention Server! On my Quest 3S!!!! To prove I am not joking with you all, I have taken pictures posted below 1. The first picture shows my photo from my mobilphone, I tried to take the picture inside the VR-headset but it was impossible to get a good image. On the picture you can see in the left top corner the FPS. You can also see on the top right corner Contention server text messages and in the middle is the server list with the players. 2. Second picture is a close-up photo from my mobilephone on the FPS. 3. This is changes I made in Virtual Desktop. I increased on the slider my VR Bitrate and Desktop Rate (I increased it with 100%). 4. In the Nvidia Control Panel I selected DCS and then changed the power setting (for DCS client) from Energy Saving to Maximal Power. 5. Last picture is my DCS Settings inside the simulator in the Settings Tab.

Moin, Mal wieder GPU. Würde mir gerne für VR eine neue GPU zulegen. Leider kann ich nicht aus dem vollen schöpfen und muss Kompromisse machen. Finanziell würde ich so im Rahmen einer 5070ti sein. Ich schwanke zwischen einer 5070ti und Radeon 9070. Eigentlich würde ich eher in Richtung Nvidia gehen, da DCS wohl diesen Hersteller in VR wohl lieber mag. Andererseits scheint sich bei AMD wohl der Treiber verbessert zu haben und ich lese nun öfters, dass die 9070 Besitzer recht zufrieden sind mit DCS und VR. Die Frage. Hat hier jemand zufällig Erfahrung mit den beiden Karten ? Und kann ganz klar aus Erfahrung eine Empfehlung geben ? Oder vielleicht doch noch bis Ende 2025 warten und schauen was kommt und dann eventuell nochmals sparen? Frank

RGR, goot to know those assets are going to be improved, my humble suggestion was to keep them in the legacy mode , while you work on the improvements, but something is always better than nothing, anyway congrats for the release, a very needed fresh air into DCS world units

Ukraine operates 2010s Era MiG-29MU2s, recently upgraded to utilize western weapons such as AASM, MALD, HARM, SDB and JDAM-ER. ED is making a ~1980s era MiG-29 9.12A.

So, when could we get the SA-4? Honestly, I’d love to have it for Syria or Cold War Germany. It would be a great addition, because spamming SA-2/3/6 everywhere feels kind of “meh” if you want something medium/high-range.The SA-5, on the other hand, is just too powerful—even with the lowest search radar it can still detect aircraft at 87 nm, and it doesn’t even have different tracking radar options.So why not also give us different types of radars for the SAMs? There are multiple variants out there, and it would make the setups a lot more interesting. It’s great that we already have the Pantsir and Tor-M2, plus the IRIS-T thanks to Currenthill (and I really love those), but at least fix the gap—same as with the MiG-21 and MiG-29. Where’s the MiG-23? JOKE XD And is there even a chance that we’re going to get it? I’ve never seen a post from anybody about the SA-4. Just asking. Just giving this page a little bump. Hello, Whenever I try to move the FLAP switch either 'Takeoff from parking hot' or 'Takeoff from runway' I must 'push' the switch with mouse cursor and then I'm able to actuate the switch with a key bind 'F' or controller. It is not speed related, I checked the manual once again and is not starting to work before pressing it with the mouse. My guess is that most of the time we start it on the ramp cold and we must switch it to AUTO position in order to perform the FLCS test on surfaces that's is stayed unnoticed or am I missing something?

Negative dude. You have 3 waypoints near the main targets and they are static, a precision and smart weapon like the CBU-103 is a great fit. In fact, IR Maverick / JDAM / JSOW / WCMD / HARM all make sense for this DEAD mission. (Of course, the real limitation is just what guided munitions are available in the mission's inventory at Akrotiri, that's out of my hands LOL wwwww) You'll know how to handle the SA-8 threat, if you completed the First in Weasels over Syria. Hi all, Glad to see there are some good stories about the Pimax Crystal Super. Unfortunately for me, the story so far is not great at all. I pre-paid for my Super in November 2024, and after several broken promises in timelines, I finally got my supper by end of July 2025. For me, it was crystal clear (pun intended) that there was something VERY wrong with my headset. The visuals were rather poor, and when looking at the Sky in DCS I could really see a tiny tiny very little "grid" or "mesh", which of course killed any experience immersion. Like Mura, but a case of critically bad Mura as I could see this tiny grid. After about 2 or 3 weeks of ford and comes, sending photos, videos and log files, Pimax finally agreed on sending me another engine. But that would take 1 or 2 months they said, so I would expect to receive the other engine by end of September 2025. Not great after spending a large amount of money on this, so I am afraid that so far my experience with Pimax quality has been rather poor. They are good on replying quickly though, so at least something good out of this. I now have to wait for quite a while before being able to check if all the videos I have seen on Youtube about the "waaaoo" experience are true or not. I just really hope the new engine is up to the visual standards a good number of youtubers say. Thanks! PS. Anyone is aware of a "competing" VR headset? Just for in case the Super keeps providing disappointments?

The amount of trim you get with one click on the trim button is way too fast. Thats why you cant get the F16 trimmed out perfectly, nor can you bring the trim back to neutral, because of the sensitivity of the input you just overshoot the perfect trim value. A trim reset is a good workaround, and or reducing the speed of the trim input per click would be the realistic way to approach it.

CT will have a laser range finger, for a better AG accuracy. Corail pod panel, updated weapon selection panel, better integrated RWR and the abiliy to use GPS for navigation. CR would be a great add, if it could be possible to add the aerial photography to DCS, so it would be possible to make aerial reconnaissance, and make the game more interactive. But In my mind this function is more on the side of ED as AERGES. But as told it's maybe for those versions CR/CT. It's more a wish than a planned version from AERGES.

I did not want to spoil too much. Its an escort. Great contrast to missions one, two and three but thats how it was back in the days. Realy great immersion!

You can install DCS on as many computers as you want to. But it can only run on one computer concurrently, hence the log in. You can either install from scratch via downloader or just copy the whole Program Files\Eagle Dynamics folder to the new computer. To keep log book and settings, copy the DCS folder under Saved Games. To keep keyboard/peripheral bindings, there's a script around that will rename all your diff files correctly. Cheers! is the fact that you are posting this tournament an indication that it is open ot all? or is there a qualifying session?

I purchased a new system. Still have the older system and it has all DCS software. How to proceed? I would like to have all my DCS software on the new system. Can I download all from DCS portal to the new system without some kind of conflict? I really do not want to copy everything from the older system to the new. I will delete all DCS from the older system and install newest MS FLTE sim and IL2, and put DCS on the new system. Another thought, I want to install all my controller software on yet another system and have it integrated with the new system. So in effect there will be two computers running different parts for DCS. Will this work? Thanks, Laz

I aborted the mission on my first run because I didn't confirm that the coordinates (by TGP) were on the target before pickle the CBUs. As a result, I missed the two SA-2s. The wingman's 1 HARM also failed to hit SA-6, causing the opponent to shut down and restart when the strike package was ready to push. Meanwhile, the wingman and I had already winchester. The SA-8 isn't a real threat to me. Its radar shows up on my RWR and HAD, which helps me stay outside of its MEZ and easy to evade. The main problem is the low visibility from the clouds, I'm hesitant to descend because I'm worried about undetected MANPADS popping up and taking a cheap shot. Retry. I got a 99 on M3 last night, I have no idea why I lost that single point, maybe I was just too tired LOL. There's nothing to care about. --------------- With that first experience under my belt, I was confident enough to fly below the clouds and use my TGP to confirm and correct the positional error between waypoints (9, 10, 11) and main targets. I even adjusted the CBU-103's spin rate and burst altitude to maximize the area of destruction, knowing that hitting the target would trigger a secondary explosion.
