  2. Something a lot of people don't know about DCS-BIOS is that DCS will ignore commands it doesn't recognise for the aircraft being flown. This means you CAN give DCS-BIOS more than one code line for a single switch. DCS-BIOS will send both (or more) commands to DCS and DCS will ignore the "wrong" ones. e.g.: // A-10C UFC Master Caution Switch DcsBios::Switch2Pos ufcMasterCaution("UFC_MASTER_CAUTION", 2); // Button on pin 2 // F-16 DcsBios::Switch2Pos masterCaution("MASTER_CAUTION", 2); // F/A-18 DcsBios::Switch2Pos masterCautionResetSw("MASTER_CAUTION_RESET_SW", 2); Note the pin number is the same for all three, meaning it uses the same switch. That code will send all 3 Master Caution Reset messages when a single button on pin 2 is pressed. DCS will respond only to one of them, depending on which aircraft you are flying. If the message in quotes (e.g. "MASTER_CAUTION" ) is the same for any other aircraft, that aircraft would also respond to the same line and it doesn't need to be duplicated. e.g. DcsBios::Switch2Pos gearLever("GEAR_LEVER", 3); // F18 AND A10C DcsBios::Switch2Pos gearHandle("GEAR_HANDLE", 3); // F16 The "GEAR_LEVER" message is used by both F18 and A10C, so both would respond to that single line, but the F16 needs "GEAR_HANDLE". Note the USB controller (such as Leo Bodnar board) could give you more flexibility for use with other games, but they're dependent on the game as to how buttons are interpreted. Reading the data for your gauges, etc. for multiple modules is a bit trickier , but it can be done.
  3. Same log error in logs as user who reported game wouldn't start for them earlier today. Removed their mods and worked. Not sure if anything related between these two re: common mods.
  4. Several of us were flying from the carrier to do a simple mission. Two of us launched successfully, but the third had issues for some reason. He had control of his A/C on the deck but immediately after launching he could no longer control his jet. Dead stick and throttle. I F2'd to him and the pilot still had his hand up on the handle on the canopy bow as well. The trackfile is too large at 70MB so I have to put a link below. Please let me know if it works for you or not. I have included images of the pilot as well. Thank you in advance! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AQ9En_IFwOMu5Wq-HbG_WpM4iO_W9mYY/view?usp=sharing
  5. Just a quick heads-up: Some of the images on this thread, including all in the first post, are "region-locked". I couldn't access them from the UK. I had to switch my VPN to the US.

  7. Thanks for the advice. I've already tried them all, unfortunately without success. It's strange that this phenomenon only occurs on the Microsoft website (https://login.live.com/), as if the site is polling joystick movements. I've also opened a ticket at WinWing about this. Let's see if they can find anything out. Regards, Markus
  8. Interesting. I initially thought the bomblets were not powerful enough to do any damages so I decreased the burst hight to 300 in order to have a more concentrated effect but actually had worse results. So if it works as intended it seems these bombs are quite under powered. That might indeed be part of the problem. I think there might be a hit detection issue on some vehicles as well. When I go for a gun run sometimes it destroys or realistically damage the BMPs and sometimes I can send 200 rounds impacting directly the side of the target with zero effect. So perhaps the issue is not only the bomb but also the hit detection system. Here's a youtube clip: Hit_detection_test.trk
  9. Ok, starting with a new Saved Games/DCS folder fixed started DCS. However, I did not change a single file or setting since this morning and DCS does not start anymore. Something external must have changed.

  11. Not sure where my reply to this went, but I’ll type it again lol. I’ll attempt it in the Caucuses, but so far, it’s been several airfields in the vicinity of the Straight of Hormuz. Always 4-ship flights, and it doesn’t seem to matter if they are flying with or against me. I’ve circled in the air to see if they are backtracking or something, but nope, they are sitting there cold. Only solution I’ve found so far is to just hot start them directly on the runway.
  12. Something got changed in a file somewhere (DCS or even in Windows). Some part in your computer finally started failing or failed just enough that it can't keep up any longer. Who knows. Regardless, with that many mods (or really with any), the most prudent 1st step in troubleshooting is remove them all and do a repair on your DCS. It's really not worth spending a lot of time troubleshooting until you do that.
  13. Well, this morning DCS started as usual. Without applying any other changes it does not start anymore now. I wonder what has changed.
  14. Aft cyclic will make the rockets go up. Forward cyclic will make them go down. The pylons do not articulate like an AH-64.
  15. After running Win11 24H2 since Nov 2024 I have updated to 25H2 two weeks ago. I didn't notice any changes or performance issues in DCS or other games.
  16. Wow, you've got a lot of mods installed and it appears you're getting bunch of errors on them. I'd start with removing them, if only reduce the clutter in the log.
  17. Have you made any changes to your mods before it stopped working? Have you already tried removing all mods, run a repair and see if that fixes your issue? If not, try renaming your saved games folder. If yes, add one mod after another to see which one causes issues.
  18. You got more infos? Like any airfield in particular? Like rather small ones with single runway and backtrack required? How many units are involved? Can you also replicate it on Caucasus?
  19. Not really sure if this is a bug, or if I’m just doing something wrong all of the sudden lol, but it seems like since the last update, any AI aircraft I assign to start parked and hot take forever to take off, like they are initiating a cold start. I can be halfway across Iran before the rest of the flight is up lol. Anyone else having this issue?
  20. Started DCS a few hours ago without isssues. Without any changes or updates since last succesful start of DCS today, DCS suddenly fails to start now with this error message (full dcs.log attached): 2025-11-05 22:52:47.894 ERROR ASYNCNET (Main): HTTP request dcs:logout failed with error 99: Unrecoverable error in select/poll 2025-11-05 22:52:47.894 ERROR ASYNCNET (Main): Logout failed: -99 === Log closed. DCS launcher starts but DCSstops with the error message above. How to fix that? dcs.log
  21. That's weird. I flew my FA-18C on Nevada map in a similar fashion and my GPU frametime is between 8.3 and 9.2 ms, no stutters whatsoever. The 8kX has only about half the pixels rendered compared to the Crystal Super but if you are using DFR, you should get decent frametime, certainly lower than 11 ms. This has to be related to settings or something running in the background. Did you tried installing process lasso? It will show what's running in parallel with DCS and you may find the culprit there.
  22. Thanks, TeTeT, Am using those three ships as Fletchers, Sumners, and light cruisers, respectively, on the WWII maps, escorting the new DCS USS Essex carrier. (as well as all my Korea and Vietnam maps) As the formations are small, maybe 1 or 2 carriers, the screen is generally 2 CL's and 4 DD's, at 3,000 yds cruising plan. So in the pattern, will fly over several at 150 kts/300 ft, as they are plane guard and lead destroyers in line w/ the carrier. They look great, except for the later applied dark deck coating, if that is correct. The overhauled ships, not used, even appear to have it on the 5" gun turrets. As these are still gunboats, a lighter deck would make them a great WWII cut-in. Don't know the trouble, but a mod file would be fine as the rest of the ship is good to go. Consider it. Thanks TeTeT, as this is some very nice work. Bowie
  23. I got the Moza AB6 last night! Coming from a Thrustmaster Warthog base its pretty amazing. It came with an included flight stick the MHG but I prefer the Thrustmaster stick. Great feedback and torque . Going from a F16 on the default Moza profile over to a P51 is different. I did notice the "propeller vibration" is pretty noisy over 40% but everything else runs smoothly. Then I slapped on a shift knob and raced with a 5 speed and a sequential shifter. Its so convenient to only have one tool to do it all! Especially at $399
  24. Yep sorry, I tried the second link and all worked! Thanks a lot for your work here, keep it up.
