As Documented in the post above, the #3 Cat is shooting low. This will affect Any AC, including the ED modules. Heatblur's boat, with a low #3 Cat. How can this be an A-4E-C problem, or not be an easy fix, literally increasing a force value in a file and then recompiling. And you are? @IronMike Bowie

Hi, Both were tuned as instructed, Comm1 to Ch1 (243MHz) and Comm2 to Ch7(130MHz) - This issue is also present in Mission 4 where I am asked to contact the UAV to receive target information - there is only Jaguar in the menu choices. I would add that both these missions are Cold Starts, not sure if this is a factor but I’m sure the menus worked ok in the first couple of Hot Start missions Any ideas? Thanks

Buenas noches, en primer lugar me presento, mi nombre es Víctor y hace poco que me he aficionado a este simulador y unido a este foro. Hace poco que he empezado a aprender como funciona mi primer modulo (F5-E) y me he encontrado con que el módulo de mi primera campaña "Black Sea Resolve 79's", está toda en inglés y a veces no me siento cómodo ya que no me entero de que está pasando. De ahí me propuse crear una herramienta que mediante un modelo de IA, traduzca y vuelva a empaquetar las misiones de la campaña, de momento solo el texto, comunicaciones por radio, briefings, etc. Esa parte ya la tengo hecha y tengo una herramienta que puede trabajar con modelos públicos usando su API (solo he probado DeepSeek) con buenos resultados, a un coste de 35 céntimos las 25 misiones de la campaña que poseo y tardando unas horitas.... Pero como no estaba del todo contento con la traducción ni con el tiempo que se tarda siendo el proceso totalmente automático, quiero hacer "fine tunning" a un modelo local (funciona mucho mas rápido y se le puede entrenar, los resultado son espectaculares y en un minuto tienes una misión traducida y re-empaquetada) pero necesito muchas muestras de texto en inglés para traducirlas y entrenar al modelo. De esa manera puedo crear mi propio modelo especializado en traducción de DCS al Español, con un contexto claro y que no suenen raro algunas frases. Y aquí está el tema, como no puedo comprar todos los módulos de DCS, necesito colaboradores, a cambio les traduciría las misiones y cuando tuviera el modelo entrenado lo publicaría para que cualquiera pudiera usarlo junto con la herramienta, que no es mas que un script que se puede ejecutar en cualquier PC con un procedimiento al alcance de cualquiera. Si la cosa sale bien lo siguiente sería crear otra herramienta para traducir también las voces, aunque es algo mucho mas ambicioso. Espero que hay alguien interesado en este proyecto y me eche una mano pero también quiero comentar, que solo voy a aceptar a los primeros que quiera colaborar con sus misiones (.miz), ya que con una sola muestra es suficiente. El resto tendrá que esperar a que se publique la herramienta. Y todo esto aclarando que no se si es del todo legal lo que propongo y si la compañía DCS podría tener alguna pega. ¡¡A ver si alguien puede darme alguna indicación para este punto LEGAL antes de comenzar a publicar nada!! I am surprised there is no mod support for Eastern airliners. The addition of a Tu-154, Tu-134, and IL-62 in conjunction with the CAM would really allow us to flesh out a peacetime 80's scenario.

P-51D-25 - Joystick/Keyboard & Briefing/Load screen image... gone. Just the mouse. Just the ESC and Pause keys. All other A/C are functioning perfectly. The default Controller tab for the P-51D, that was several scrolling pages long, like all the other A/C, is now a coupla mouse related lines. Loads normal in mission builder, routes/liveries/weapons load-out. But the mission briefing screen is the digital camo 'missing image', as is the mission load screen, instead of the P-51D 364th FS, 357th FG (C5) image. And then, run the mission, and only the mouse works, no joystick, and only the Esc and Pause function keys. Controller/keyboard serial numbers match the functioning A/C, and are regenerated. Have been working w/ the jets of late, so not sure if it was post or prior to either the latest update or F4U-1D release, both of which were installed during the jet mission building program. Have tried so far: - Start Menu DCS 'Repair'. - Uninstall/reinstall P-51D. - Uninstall/throw out P-51D folders/reinstall. - Uninstall/DCS Repair/reinstall. - Uninstall/move folders to Archive ships/planes added during the jet mission building program/reinstall. No joy. Like an important folder/file is missing - but the P-51D, as a prime and well used A/C, has never been subject to Drive Space 'Hanger' time, save the liveries, that have never been a problem, the ones used being in the user/liveries folder. Have not messed w/ the F4U-1D as yet, but is the next thing to consider. This is new, and very weird. P-51D - Dead Stick&Keyboard.trk Please Advise. Bowie

Think you mean mission 13. This is how it is done. Hope this helps. All my other campaigns have AWACS support where relevant. Not been requested on this one over the last few years, but if you think it would help, we will where relevant provide more SA support in these campaign missions, hopefully in next update or if not in the one after definitely

At this stage that's not the point, the point is I'm obviously being ignored when I have been on topic with my question after asking multiple times. If they can't release what manual they're using for whatever reason then just come out and f*****g say it already instead of ignoring it.

Freq or channels you have in the kneeboard too. You can check it during the flight.

I mean there’s only two manuals on Amazon. Both are decently priced. I bought both of them. They complement each other nicely becuase one is non combat systems and the other handles combat. Just buy both

Hi Badger, I have the same problem; I drop the bombs as soon as I get the "in range" on the HUD, but they always seem to fall 200-300 meters short of the target. I make sure I'm level and with a speed of ca 400 kts. If I wait too long I'm always hit by the SAM. Any tips? By the way; really enjoy this campaign and have all your campaigns now. Very clear explained, interesting plots and good voice acting. Also like things that you sense the radio channel swithcing etc. Looking forward to getting started on Green line. Hope you will make something for the newer maps as well.

There was. It's left crtl + shft + alt + U now. It used to be only alt + U i think.

I'm still waiting for an answer as to what particular manual that is referenced in the FAQ as available on Amazon, is used in development of this aircraft for DCS. At this point it's obvious my question is just being blatantly ignored. Why is this such a hard thing for you guys at ED to answer? Seriously, all I want is to order a copy so I can read up on the material that's directly involved with the development of one of my favorite aircraft and to add it to my collection. For what reason are you keeping that a secret?

Followup...as I was searching the forums for an answer I found I posted the exact same problem July of 2024 in this thread (and you posted in it as well!): After many people reported the problem BIGNEWY ended up thanking everyone for their feedback and locking the thread with no resolution. BIGNEWY if you read this, can you please tell us what the final resolution of this is for those of us trying to run offline with no success??? I just tried to submit a new support ticket and after finishing the submission process I was directed to a DCS splash page saying "Website Under Maintenance. We are making updates please check back soon". Did my ticket get submitted or not? Why has this issue not been resolved since July of 2024 when it was first reported? What is going on? Has offline mode been disabled or something?

Apologies! I wasn't clear. You have some network issue. Probably DNS or the routing from your ISP to the validation servers. Except: You don't seem to get the 3 days grace period, which is strange. If you're scared of updating, just don't update. You're not forced, and if you use the other icon, you will never be asked to update. So, if you want to play before you solve the connection problems, (or if the problem is on ED's side, until they fix it). Just stay online, and it will never be updated until you want it to. He is waiting for a final salute. I believe there was a keybind for that (or was that just for the Tomcat?), but you can definitely find it in the Ground Crew menu.

Я вчера , с "полтинника", кидался Х-25. Норм работают. Две ракеты, с 10ти км, с паузой - в цель Пробовали светить и с наземки, и с Апача, и со второго Полтинника - не. Ка-50 работает исключительно со своим лазером и пятном. (почему - не знаю) Говорят - это уже давно (Сам себе режиссер) JTAC - тоже бесполезно. Полтинник на НАТОвские приблуды вообще внимания не обращает. Сам по себе шмаляет ... одиночка
