  2. Update, it seems linked to the F4E ... On other planes, FPS range from 50 to 80 FPS, disappointing with my setup but playable
  3. Being fair, I had mine for probably 5 years and gave it away in working condition, though the throttle axis was clearly a bit "dirty" by then.

The red lamp does not glow on my DCS, even tough the Master Armament switch is ON, Rocket Power ON, there are rockets on the wing mounts, and the engine is running (in case the battery alone didn't provide power for the Rocket Box). Is this a bug, or an item not yet implemented? The Safety plug seems to not be implemented, which makes sense as it is an item mostly used by the Ground Crew to prevent accidental rocket launches.

As I am currently conceptualizing a campaign for the Kiowa Warrior, I have been wondering how the Kiowa configuration options and weapon choices available in DCS could be utilized to somewhat realistically depict certain timeline variants. Particularly with regard to the available cockpit version and the performance of the MMS, I wonder how early a Kiowa Warrior equipped with AN/ALQ-144 and without APKWS or L2MUM could realistically be dated. Would a late or even mid-90s scenario be realistic here, or would that be too early for the version of the Kiowa Warrior available to us? Are there any other available configuration settings or weapon restrictions in DCS that would support the representation of an earlier version of the helicopter?

Hello everyone, I just upgraded my PC to a RTX 5080 and DCS runs smoothly around 200FPS on 4K except on MP servers where it is totally unplayable (32 FPS max no matter the graphical settings, with drops in the air around 5 FPS). The rest of my config : I9 10900K, RAM 64Gb, DCS is installed on an M2 SSD , win 11. What I don't understand is that both the GPU and the CPU runs only around 20% of their capabilities on MP servers, whereas in single player it goes normally to 80-100% for the GPU and 30-40% for the CPU. NB: - I uninstalled TACVIEW - Disables GPU scheduling in windows - Disabled game mode - My drivers are up to date, the game as well - NVIDIA Overlay is disabled - I repaired the game, no error - My paghe file is 65536mb - I tried to rename the hook folder in scripts to hook.bak - I uninstalled mods, just have current hill still installed but I do not see the link?   10. I think I solved it. I’ve disabled the X3D Turbo Mode, fixed my lua exports, and limited the max FPS to 60. I need more outputs than the 5090 has

Мне кажется, если говорить о РУС, для погружения важнее ощущать в руке ручку джойстика, тактильно и по расположению кнопок/хаток/рычагов похожую если не на конкретный прототип, то, хотя бы, на что-то усредненное от самолёта. Причем, облуплять на своей ручке рычаг тормоза мне ни разу в голову не приходило.. Это вот эта разница в облезлости реального и игрового рычага тормоза покоя не даёт? …

    Томкет не имею, не присматривался к нему. А вот помимо ободранного РУСа на не европейском Су-25 хорошечно ободран переплёт, и надпись "вкл" на обогреве как-раз плохо читаемая. О чём тут вещал Летающий кот, что такое не допустимо. null

  21. I did some performance testing on CWG map, flying around Berlin in heavy clouds/rain. Since my mod is increasing the cirrus clouds from 1K to 4K texture resolution, it does cause increased VRAM usage. In my case it was about 1G more VRAM being used with the mod active. This hasn't ever been an issue for me with the 4090. In version 1.9 I will offer a version with lower resolution (1024x1024) cirrus textures. This will keep the VRAM usage roughly the same as default but still offer better visuals and variety. They won't look as good as the 4K versions up close but for VR users it won't matter much. FPS and frame times are basically the same in my testing of mod vs default.

  23. Изначально я привел в пример (уже жалею) избыточную облезлость Томкета, которая, похоже, действительно была нормой, к концу его службы, по крайней мере. Это у него табло плохо читаемые и служебные надписи затерты. У нас тут спич образовался о том, что до такой степени МиГи, похоже, не доводили. О чем уже свидетельствует несколько ссылок на видео. И поэтому его не хочется получить в состоянии F-14. Только и всего. Чего тут гадать. Может, объем регламентных работ разный (советские кабины точно подшаманивались, подкрашивались). Может, дело и в том, что у Томкета назначенный ресурс раза в три больше. Чего вы спорите с надрывом всё ещё, чего ради?

  26. I'm pretty sure I saw a thread a while ago reporting this as a bug, so it's an issue with the game engine cloud rendering. I'll see if I can tweak the settings on scattered showers 5 to get rid of it. It does only seem to occur in certain types of cloud formations.
