Save a LOT of people a LOT of grief, please.
dub-villain replied to dub-villain's topic in DCS World Tutorial & Help Requests
At first I thought you were just being salty and pointing out the obvious, but the matter of the fact is, I had been searching for "dcs FC2024 x56", "dcs flaming cliffs x56" etc to no avail, but when tried "dcs fc3 x56", DING! I got some results. So, whatever your motive was, thank you very much, that did the trick! -
I know, but beginning with the cold start seemed like a more logical approach.

un-designate point track
Kinkkujuustovoileipä replied to colinwilloughby's topic in DCS: OH-58 Kiowa
It is largely correct behaviour as the locking simulates a contrast lock so the image would remain locked onto the brightness of the burning target or hulk. To exit point track in general you should use the MANUAL/SLAVE button to go back to MANUAL mode IIRC. -
Does anyone have any experience with Honeycomb Charlie rudder pedals? I can get them from Amazon for £250. I can also get Thrustmaster TPR for £430. Unfortunately I don't have easy access to Virpil or Winwing so these are not options for me. I know what I want to get but is the extra £180 worth it?

Great! A/A and A/G training missions would also be nice. The F-104 gets far too little love in DCS.

Hi all! Since I updated my PC to a 13900k back then, I noticed the common issue with menus and DCS in general running slow, crashing, etc. After I used the registry edit to disable core parking EVERYTHING solved inmediately and completely, the game ran perfect as with previous cpus. It has been like that until a few days ago, when I decided to update my mobo bios (Z790 GAMING X AX) from F6 to F13, just to get latest microcode (although I hadn't had any issues with my chip). After that, I inmediately noticed that dcs started to run extremely bad in menus, enter, exit, loading, f10 map, etc , just exactly the same as is used to be before the core parking fix. The thing is, I have already the core parking fix working just fine, so I wonder what is going on or what could be causing this ¿?. The game itself (once in the cockpit), runs perfectly fine and smooth, but just loading the launcher takes ages, then the menus are sluggish, taking a lot of time to load, freezing some time for no reason, exiting the mission or dcs takes ages or crashes, etc. Again, very similar to what happened back then if I let core parking enabled, but now it is disabled so...I tried removing all mods, repairing dcs several times, adding dcs to avira and malwarebytes (already done) with no avail. This started exactly after updating bios, but other than enabling intel limits, rebar, and XMP, I dont remember changing other settings in bios that could be different now. I have game mode on and HAGS enabled in windows, but it was like that previously to the bios update and worked just fine. Any help would be welcome. Thanks!!

Changing Measurements to Imperial
Raven (Elysian Angel) replied to celestHawk's topic in DCS: MiG-29A Fulcrum
Yup, we used to have measurements like that as well (for example the "el" - which was about 68cm) - it went out of date in the 1800s. -

Careful now- you do know that we're not yet getting an AC-130 right? this module is the C-130J-30 and C-130J slick, with an MC-130J down the road. That is what we will get with our purchase, any future AC-130 or harvest hawk will be a separate purchase!
-
C- 130J is even better! Thanks for the information I am a huge fan of the super hercules.

The A-10 is it's own thing for sure! Personal preference is totally what it comes down to for Viper vs. Hornet. They're both really good modules with lots to learn in them. There's a *ton* of really cool aspects in the Hornet that I like. Yet, if I had to do it all over again, I'd still chooser the F-16. Pretty much because it's the first model kit I put together as a kid. To me that's all that matters. ....Still want to get back into the hornet, though! -Ryan

Крышка при пуске открывается, и закрывается после схода ракеты. Дно контейнера не отстреливается, в нем газоотводные прорези есть для этого. Как сказали выше - это правильно.

any news ? It's 1 year old bug ...

Ну, мож какие анимации поломались. Но про крышку точно помню, что люди спрашивали и был такой ответ. Раньше ведь мы видели трубу. Теперь трубы нет и Чиж сказал, что это правильно.
