  2. The keybind is there and works perfectly. If for you it is greyed out, rename the MOUSE folder located into aircraft/F4U/input to something else, like MOUSE1, then profit. Have fun
  3. I've noticed that sometimes when I access a thread I'm automatically placed at the first unread post, and other times I'm placed at the very first post, often pages back from the first unread one. Is there a way to control this behavior so that I always go to the first unread post by default? If that is the default, what might I possibly doing wrong that causes it often not to happen? And is there a way to jump to the first unread post? BTW, I thought that somewhere there was a subforum for questions about the forums, but I can't find that. Please move to a better location if that is appropriate.
  4. Strange,M3 was developing A6M5c
  5. I will give it a try and report back, thank you for the help.
  6. I'm glad it's not just me being a terrible Huey pilot. Thanks a lot! You're a beauty! Btw, how do I update the mission to fix the bug? I've never had to do updates other than the regular dcs ones.
  7. The root of the problem is the paper (and not the equipment like was mentioned earlier) The mechanical aspect of the moving map system is fine as it is. The paper maps, though, could use a system that makes the markings more visible. If I were to draw on this map, I’d do it so everything remains visible (not with so much clipping). If I need a smaller font, I’ll use a smaller font; if I need to declutter and omit some info, that’s fine too. There must be a way to improve how routes are drawn. Maybe letting us to draw the maps manually, that could be a solution, giving us the ability to edit the font size, color and thickness of the lines for example.
  8. Hello friends, After a long time I returned back to my low-poly-MiG-project. So - some things I changed so far: - afterburner modeled - drag chute modeled and animated ( touches the ground when the AI is landing - ED) - pilot shape remodeled and textured - airbrakes animated - the eternal fight against vertex errors continued - bump map textures corrected - landing gear corrected - light settings corrected and some new skins created (Poland ans Syria) So far I would say, for a presentation of one of the most important fighter during the cold war, my work is good enough. Please ignore the download some messages above. After I some damages are modeled, I will upload the work to the community. Thats the news from the engine room. Thank you very much and always happy landings. Cheers TOM
  9. Ballistic trajectory. An arrow, for example.
  10. Usually renaming the INPUT folders of a particular aircraft resolves the issue of greyed out controls. For example, at first I was unable to add the ALT+C standard keybind to a mouse button. Renaming the MOUSE folder (located into aircraft/F4U/input) to something like MOUSE1 solves the problem. Give it a try.
  11. No everything bar Headset view....still stars and Planets Can you please let me know how you launch yours? Do you have steam VR??..
  12. Nope...the 23's is centered, behind the cockpit. Knowing what you're speaking about is important, that's how you can help prevent spreading misinformation.
  13. Why not? A 9800X3D is not that power hungry, and a 7900XTX isn't either. You can stuff a 5080 in there and 850W will still be plenty. I prefer 1000W and I have used one for ages, but that doesn't mean it isn't overkill. 850W isn't enough for a 4090 or 5090, but anything else should be fine as long as you don't put a dozen harddrives in there as well.
  14. An 850 W power supply will probably not be enough. The price difference is negligible.
  15. Your previous post. While I don't necessarily disagree with the sentiment, it wasn't conveyed in the most tactful of ways.
Evtl. Versuche ich mich auch noch mal daran.
  17. Same here !!! Great memories and a lot of flying with that addon We already have a great selection of platforms to launch MK-X, GBU-X, AGM-X, AIM-X.... DCS also need to expand other roles and options and the Hercules and the Chinook are great platforms for that. The C-130 has always been one of my favourite aircrafts of all times so I am really happy to have the option to fly it in DCS.
  18. Hi Folks, Has anyone managed to make one of these work on a Windows 11 PC running DCS?
  19. Do a fast repair. Turn your pagefile to 30gb on a fast drive (sata or nvme SSD). Your DCS log points at only 2gb of pagefile set. Check for thermal issues on that i5 12600KF. I have the same CPU and that thing is HOT. Thermal issues will provoke system shutdown: Limit your fps and change cooler for that CPU if a thermal issue is found.
  20. DMAS is "ok" I think. Better than the stock "speakers" at least. So I use them. I think the VR headset itself is heavy and warm enough, so I don't want to use another headset a top of the Super
  21. If just have your headset "running" and launch DCS from its own startmenu - with VR option on in DCS - does it work then? Never bothered with adding DCS to Pimax menus.
  22. Today
  23. I am experiencing a crash to power off anytime I use the MMS in the Kiowa. I no mods installed and have recently unparked my cores. Drivers are up to date as well on the GPU. Any help would be greatly appreciated. dcs.log
  24. This case won't be any different :). The C-130J will be just as complex as most other modules in terms of systems and avionics. You could even say a bit more so, since you'll be managing and monitoring four engines. Of course, the issue of weapons will be eliminated, but on the other hand, we have the option of loading, unloading, and dynamic drop. This will replace the weapon, and here we will have to operate it (e.g., via the cargo master chief). In the module, procedures may play a greater role, you will have full FMC, you will be able to carry out a full SID/STAR approach procedure, you will be able to rely on a voice checklist. The MC-130J will also be a nice option as in-flight refueling support on Multiplayer missions. Contrary to what some people think, this module doesn't mean it's boring. Sure, there won't be any shooting, but it's an addition for people who: 1/ love Herc, 2/ are looking for in-depth simulation and procedures (not fighting only), 3/ are looking for cargo missions, 4/ enjoy large cockpits (it'll look amazing in VR!). The game changer here will definitely be the more expansion of the cargo option (please @Someone put pressure on the ED in this context , including paratroopers) and the spherical earth, where you will be able to do actual long missions from point A to B in different parts of the world (but that will probably take another 2 years or more). I spent a lot of time flying the C-130A in FSX (CaptainSim), , it was some time ago, of course. It was actually several months (dozens of hours) of Hercules flights. I had a blast creating and imagining the various missions, and the simulation was quite in-depth. I can definitely say one thing – I wasn't bored at all :).
  25. By the way, a mini review of the campaign has appeared. Hats off to you for that much text and of course, describing impressions. Thanks!
