Impossible to win

True! I bought the campaign some time ago but only recently started to play as I was worried thet planning the flight(s) will be difficult BUT is very simple and almost intuitive and now I'm so thrilled and excited! Currently at mission 06 with 50-60% of Sam activity ( principally Rapier, two SA-6 and one SA-10 at Bandar A Jask left) and 90-100% of air superiority- Now is time for the counterattack and can't wait. Thanks to @Sandman Simulations for another ton of fun. If Iron Tide as simple to manage as FS I'll buy very soon ( Iìve also the Tomcat but still don't touch it...) -
Raviar started following Black screen on startup and Black screen on launcher
-
I have followed the instructions as stated in ( I didnt run wsreset.exe) the launcher is black.null dcs.log

Nah, OpenComposite takes OpenVR games (not OpenXR like DCS) and "converts" (like a bridge) them to OpenXR. So basically is intended to "allow" SteamVR games to run using OpenXR. Because DCS is already OpenXR none of that is needed. You just need to set your runtime of choice (PimaxPlay or Mbucchia's PimaxXR) as the default OpenXR runtime and it'll use that. If you have set SteamVR to be the runtime for OpenXR it will open SteamVR. Drop another crash log zip file from one of those occurrences. If the system is rebooting then this means a Windows issue and not the game itself. Typically an issue with drivers or memory. Unless I misunderstood your comment and these are reboots you are doing manually. If Windows is rebooting and not a game crash then there likely won't be a crash zip. Run the Windows DxDiag tool, save the output, and drop that here as well as a DCS log file from a crash.

hello. it would be best for you to post a new topic. this one is solved.

Самое важное то выяснили хоть? Что там с цветом стрелочек?!
-
This log is just from the launcher and not a complete boot into DCS. This log is also from the DCS in bin-mt and not bin. This post has also been solved and you're responding to something from 4 months ago. You should raise your own new post if you're having issues.

I have same issue, and none of above helped ( I didnt ran wsreset.exe) Removed dxgi.dll from bin-mt Booted from bin not bin-mt Disabled game mode Disabled Hardware Accelerated GPU scheduling Disabled Core Isolation Ran SFC and DISM commands Deleted %LOCALAPPDATA%\TEMP\DCS.openbeta Ran slow repair with extra files check the launcher is black : null dcs.log

Any way to remove the jester wheel in replay?

If I press escape. They wheel isn't visible and nothing i bind for jester wheel has any effect in replays -
Update. Did the exact thing I did yesterday. Today, what worked yesterday did not today resulting in 5 system crashes in a row after 5 full and complete system reboots. However, using the exact same mission, but dropping random other modules (Mig-15, etc.) in place of the Mig29A...everything worked perfectly. Giving up for the time being on the 29 until a fix comes out...sigh...

Страпона мало что ли?

Одни токсики, ни один по-делу не ответил.

Like I said previously SPO is tested for higher PRF than HPRF of MiG's radar. What can be the perpetrator is FCS clock manager logic that directs radar and all interfaces. This is either to be disclosed by ED or further discovered by community(community is digging).

Weird Shadow Artifacts, and I cant seem to get rid of them.
Kuky replied to fnslayeroc's topic in View and Spotting Bugs
I think your issue is due to using MSAA mode to AA, try using DLAA instead and all that shimmering will go away. Ps: that Shadows.lua edit will only make shadow map mush finer, its like increasing resolution of it so edges of shaddows esp in cocpit will become finer/nicer/smoother... at the expense of performance... the 8196 is what I have been using also, doubling that started to become noticeable decrease in fps esp over forests as all of them cast shadows on each other (unless you use flatt shadows option). -
It will hopefully included in the next patch, if the great lord of bits & bytes will be gracious to us.

Yeah fair enough, it obviously had a blanking circuit which also blanked other things which worked fine. I.e. radios/IFF etc.
-
You could say that the ground crew prepares the flight calculations (which, theoretically, the pilot then has on his lap), so it would be good if these values were also correct.
-
Im sure you have it. Maybe you looked wrong? Or check if I didn't block the hanging (the cross will appear then). There may also be some other unofficial mod that is messing something up, although I doubt it in this case.

Also ich hatte vor etwa einem Jahr mal versucht selbst zu hosten und es hatte nicht geklappt. So bin ich auf die Problematik überhaupt erst gestossen.

Hi, really enjoying the opening of the campaign. On mission 2 I completed Mission 2a, but then the message that DCS couldn't load the mission 2b file came up, and I was unable to click anything on the debrief screen other than to close and not save progress. Do you think this is a one-off type of bug and just to re-fly 2a? Or is another workaround better? Thanks for any help, I'm really looking forward to getting further into this campaign.

I’m not the quoted poster. But original versions of the Navy F-4B had Sparrows on the inboard rails for fleet defense missions. If I recall correctly, this capability was dropped later on.

Ah, guter Punkt.

Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeah....... sorry Major, that ain't workin' out so well, Sir...... Should I go get anuvver one? Exactly what I'm thinking - WinWing do a joystick extension rod (adjustable to 170mm) and a kit comprising extra springs, dampers, and different cam profiles. The dampers aren't sold separately, so I'll have to get the kit, ditch the spring/cam assy entirely and just use the dampers. That should provide enough tactile counter-pressure, without a resistance that I have to fight against. Their MFSSB base might be another option, being a 'movable force-senstitive sensor' where the amount of input depends on degree of force applied rather than haw far you move the stick. It's over £400 though and out of stock anyway. I did wonder if I was high enough. Something in the back of my mind thought my skids were still touching, but my eyes were sure I'd risen a good few feet... clearly my eyes lie!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! So my torque was way too low, and I still had basically zero altitude? No wonder I was flopping around like a drunken floor gymnast!! I tell you, these Track files are SO useful. Being able to see the point being explained makes so much more sense, now. Thank-you very much for sharing that!!
