  1. It took me about 1 1/2 hours plus 1 hour gathering reference. I'll optimize it for use in LockOn today and if everything goes fine with the export it should be available within the next few days for download.

  2. I've been working on this for a few hours and I'll try to import it into LockOn tomorrow. Click the pictures for a version with a higher resolution. - Tatti

  3. yea you can fly both. and yes only a few training vids have voice over like the A-10 stock training missions, the rest are mainly text. But you can find more voice over trainging over at http://www.flankertraining.com/ironhand/ You can download the training tracks in the game in a video format here http://bvr.jpn.org/lockon/training/FC_eng/index.html That way you don;t have to worry about different version #.

  4. The F-22 might be a very efficient aircraft. But IMO the plane has no soul, no history, and an uncertain future. And as I'm not a F-22 pilot I don't care for the thing one bit. When it comes to simulations it's just an ugly POS that takes away much of the fun in gaming and only fits in future war scenarios fighting "terrorists", let's just say that's not my cup of tea. Nor is the F-22 (quite obvious isn't it?).

  6. Yes, given that (possibly) worst case scenario it would be problematic. Generally you're not re-making "Blue Thunder" in combat helicopters though :) Neither would such a low frame-rate of 14 fps be practical with Track-IR either. But in general it's adequate. 15 is better, 20 great, 25+ and you're laughing. Pilots wouldn't perform such crazy manuvers when visual feedback was so poor, equate low FPS with thick fog. You fly in 'response' in a helo rather than in 'command', meaning your environment dictates your actions much more so than open skies. That applies to physical environments and simulated feedback I think. 14 fps is far from ideal, I'm just stating that it's the lowest practical rate for helo flight in my experience, of course situations will vary that's a given. Personally I can't maintain a manual hover without one external fixed reference point and a min FPS of 20 (even then it gets messy). Not to mention the powered descents into the ground I make when lots of dust gets kicked up and the frame rate drops to a level where I don't realise it's happening until it's pancake time.

  7. I don't think i agree with you there sorry. Whilst flying through a city, in between buildings at 10 feet AGL whilst rotating 90 degrees to turn in the next street at high speed. Do that at 14 fps and you are in for a spot of bother.

  8. For any new guys to lock on that may be reading this, the guys here who are suggesting not to leave your ECM on are all experienced lomacers, Pilotasso, SVK_Fox, Cali; very good and very experienced. The hot tip from all of us with a fair bit of time up is to leave your jammers off for the most part. Jammers have their uses, but leaving them on not only broadcastes "I'm a noob and I'm over here" to us lomac "sharks", but it is really not an effective way to avoid detection or defeat attack. Turning your jammers on all the time is essentially ringing the dinner bell for the more experienced guys...and it's bloody annoying! Additionally I'd suggest you at least do the 5 training missions that come with the sim for the particular a/c you wish to fly. Without the knowledge aquired in those tutorials you will probably end up getting very frustrated online. It will only take 1-2hours. Other than that, it's good to see some fresh meat in the servers! Welcome!

  10. Well the States are a walking distance from where I lvie I know plenty of people there and they are living well. You can work at Walmart and still have a house. They live better than the(eastern bloc) any point in the history of the whole Eastern Bloc. Actualy whose ahead of them. Those few Scandinvian countries and thats it. And Luxemburg shouldnt even count:P Anyway you seem to imply your a US citizen so you should know better. And because US spends that much they are the only superpower. And will remain that way for a very long time. I like the States, sure I dont like some things, but thats in every country. The fact that they can spend nearly half a trillion $ on military and still be able to drive a 10mpg Cheavy down the high way and then cook a nice steak on that propane BBQ proves to me that they are doing somethig right. But I still dont see the damn F22 fly through any radar :P And sure the F22 fans seem to acknowledge that now :P

  11. I am agree with that. I PAY FOR A GAME, I PAY FOR PLEASURE TO PLAY, TO SEE, TO HEAR AND TO FEEL IN THE GAME. I don't care about such a crappy texture management bug is due to Nvidia or ED programing. To Only thing that I care for is my investment. And for now, I can say that both of them are cheating me, eating my money (your money, all of us too, who are searching day and night to solve that kind of problem). I don't ask my money back but I'm asking for some kind of attention. This post is open since 2005 and no solution for now that... revert back to a f...ing old version of that goddamn 6800GT card or do a miserable and pathetic ALT-TAB. Disgusted. I'm totally disgusted.:disgust: Today, we are in 91.33 version of Forceware driver. And NO SOLUTION since. I was forced to install WinXP to another partition on my system and do a dualboot especially to play the Lomac I paid for in good conditions ... with an old driver.:disgust: Maybe in 2012 with Lomac 2... but they'll not get my money that time Peace brothers
