  1. Coming soon!!!!!!!!!:helpsmilie: Philipp "Flip" S. takes an inside look at the Lock On Modern Air Combat Community and its Squadrons. How?!? Flip will get the chance to experience first hand what it is like to be part of one of the squadrons by being embedded for several missions. He will write reports, take screenshots and hold interviews with squadron members and leaders. In the end, the Lock On Community will have a thorough write up of the experiences that can be read up at the pilot lounge website (www.pilot-lounge.net)! Possible Problems? Yes, of course there could be possible problems that will be faced accordingly. The Squadrons have their own specific "Standard Operating Procedures", Communications and mission profiles that are usually confidential and only accessible to squadron members. So certainly, there will be "dark areas" where the Reporter can not look but these may be overcome when proper cooperation between the Reporter and the Squadron Commanders is present. Therefor, "Security Clearances" for specific content could be given to the Reporter and he can assure that he does not share the classified material with anyone under any circumstances. (Further Information in personal Contact with Squadron Leaders). Easier done than said! Let's call it CENSORING.:smartass: The Content of the Report will be thoroughly looked over to eliminate and discrepancies. Who is Flip?!? "My Name is Philipp and ive gone by the Callsign "Flip" since the beginning of my flight experience in many flight simulations to date. Ive started flying (though offline) with Novalogic's F-22 Lightning II (anyone remember that??) and have progressed through many Jane's titles and currently fly Lock On, FS 9 and IL-2! I have flown Lock On in several online squadrons, including the 355th Tactical Fighter Wing ("Stalking Tigers"), the 87th Fighter Wing (i was the leader of this Squadron, was later merged with the: , Iron Angels Squadron) ,and the 9th Airforce (53rd Fighter Squadron "The Tigers"). I have also had the Opportunity to fly with the 504th VVS( Thanks Hi Hat, Wolfie etc, i wonder if you remember me, thanks for letting me have a look into the lock on community. I really enjoyed my short stay! I really wished you guys flew US Jets ;-) ) and also flew several missions with the virtual Jagdbombergeschwader 32. I also took part in the VFAT 2005 as the solo A-10 Demonstration team of the 355th TFW. I really hope this project can boost the friendship within the lock on community and also boost the flight hours of the squadrons!! Thanks beforehand and im looking forward to some interesting Flights!:pilotfly: Best Wishes, Philipp "Flip" S. -> -> STATUS (27.12.2006) : VVS 504th REPORT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 2. I don't think it is stupid at all Poko - e.g. I like the idea of lamp posts on airfields :) . - JJ.

  4. You know what? That's an idea. ED could get a support from KFC. I worked there for 2 weeks (couldn't stand it longer). I'd like to blow that place up! But seriously now. What I mentioned earlier - those objects are very common on russian airfields.

  6. Makes no sense seperate one from the other, Fligh influences combat manuevers and combat manuevers influences flight.
