Cool_T Not sure if they were really meant to be rhetorical questions, but 6 - 8 seem fairly straight forward... - I can't comment on 1-6 as I'm not a tester & I suspect they won't because 1 to 5 sound like the kind of thing an NDA would cover (Though EB1 might cough up an answer to some ???) But 6 can be answered by looking at the DCS front page & FAQ. 7 could be paraphrased as 'do you intend to do a cr*p job of your DCS F-15 release' and if you even suspect that the answer to that is yes, why are you here ? and 8 - well now, how many programmers work for microsoft ? Does this mean we can we be assured there will be no 'hacks' for Vista? I agree with you about 9 though - there are a few people I work with that use MSFS & most have heard of Falcon in its itterations, a couple have heard of LO, none had heard of LOFC, & even someone who was looking around for a helicopter sim hadn't heard of BS ,so a bit more publicity in the West might do the game sales, & therefore the community, a bit of good (the review in SimHQ was a very good start ).

I really want to make the belly of this hog dirty - so expect some great under belly shots. BTW -I have modified the engine fan texture to appear more in motion - I used some texture trickery.

I use the KMGUs for all convoys that aren't tanks, but preferably softer targets that don't have as much armor. So anything stronger than an APC is really a no go. I've destroyed tanks with the KMGUs but it really is hit and miss. Its dependent on proximity that sub munitions land. RBK 500 or 250s are much better overall at taking out tank.

I have heard some technicians over at F-16.net saying that there will be a new AESA radar for F-16 Upgrades, different from UAE block 60 because they have different power output requirements than standard US (or any other for that matter) Falcons. I guess they would be enough for home defense. for heavier duty missions, F-15E's to replace current F-15's doesnt make much sense because either you keep buiding new planes with older technology or the latest eagle goodies and then their price tag can soar into 90 million each (As ROKAF did), not that much lower than an F-22. If F-15C's would be prepared to have an early retirement they would be canibalized gradualy in order to keep the fittest airframes flying for a few years more untill F-35's F-22's or whatever type fills its gap has time to come in sufficient numbers to do so.

I don't think that will happen, but since it is a 'what if' ... Correct on both counts. But, F-15E/K/SGs ARE in production currently. F-22's would be best for A2A. They're so expensive because they are an offensive weapon (as opposed to defensive, like an F-16 or MiG-29) Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeell no. No way jose :D No match for the 15's radar. 15's always eat vipers in BVR. Doesn't matter. F-15's can give those missiles more range thanks to flight performance and SA. Doesn't matter. Who cares about clean config? :) Not as good as an F_15! :) They do have an FDL. Then you're not replacing F-15's, are you? You're just running vipers on their regular missions ;) Superbugs will do better than F-16's in BVR, and pretty darn good in WVR and A2G ... but I'd still rather have an F-15 for A2A (if I can't have an F-22) :)

Ну не важно в принципе. Просто то что ты сел на Су ,а он на Ф-15 ещё не гарантирует твоей победы. И в реале это тоже так.
